But seriously, I think I hate it so much because of that game. Because Greg ****ing Studrawa kept calling it even though Alabama was in the hole every single time. Ever since then, I die a little every time I see the QB toss it backwards.

It's because most of them scheduled real teams instead of Tomato Can State.

I'm glad this game is close so there's something interesting to watch even though I've been watching since 5:30AM when Penn State-Central Florida started, but Washington might want to get their act together here.

Oh, I'll definitely take Auburn's start to the season.

After shaking that first half rust off and making some defensive changes, we scored 24 unanswered in the second half and didn't allow another point.

The gameplan was pretty vanilla and still produced big time. Then there's Jeremy Johnson and Duke Williams, who emerged as the guy Auburn fans knew he could be. As the season goes on, I have a feeling his value to the offense and receivers will exceed or at least match that of Sammie.

I'll be interested to see if we continue to improve once we actually get into that tougher SEC schedule. We still don't know exactly how good Arkansas will be. I do think there will be a few games where they give teams problems with their running game.

A SEC West win to start the season is hard to complain about. The only thing that worries me is that I'm actually feeling a little confident.

Auburn tends to accomplish the most when I'm nervous.

Not really feeling Lindquist today. Miles might keep that starting job after all. Still wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't start next week though.

I find it inconceivable that Jeff Lindquist started this game 7/10.

Ellis Johnson is a MASTER at making adjustments.

Arkansas was gashing us in the first half. After halftime??

Arkansas 65 total yards of offense
                    2 yards rushing
                    0 points

We completely dominated them once we adjusted.

Duke Williams is everything he was hyped to be and more. Add him to Sammie, CJ, Ricardo, and now Melvin Ray (who picked up from where he left off in the BCS Title game) and you can stack Auburn's WR corps against any in the nation.

Jeremy Johnson is equally studly. Been a long time since Auburn had multiple stud QBs on the team at once.

The new kicker is a stud too.

Other than the shaky D in the first half...for a season opener, hard to complain about anything I saw.

Barring an injury bug or if we turn the ball over 5 times in a game...I have a hard time seeing anyone outscoring us. The Aggies, UGA, and maybe Bama have the firepower to hang with us. Other than that, I don't see anyone else who can outscore us.

Tune up with San Jose State next week then it's off to Manhattan, Kansas.

EWU is going to murder us if we play like that again. We can't have ugly games like that. Lindquist doesn't need to be under center again unless absolutely necessary.

First off, Wisconsin fans are cool. In a different lifetime, they, West Virginia fans, and us could have teamed together to form a super fan base.

As for the game, I don't know what to say. I have never been prouder of them than I am right now. We went down 24-7 and then mounted up and punched them inter mouth. After they went up 24-7, they had 6 plays of positive yardage. SIX. And we didn't score by luck, we chipped away at the lead and tightened up defensively. That was a solid coached half and even better executed. Defense stepped up and put the ****ing hammer down, the offense started to hash and the special teams came to life.

I love this team and this school. Forever LSU.

Really gonna need Cyler Miles to start next week. And I'm not even very high on him either. Man that was the worst possible game we could've played without actually losing. Incredibly lucky.

Also, yesterday's largest margin of victory was actually Southeast Missouri State over brand new Missouri Baptist with a score of 77-0, followed by Texas State over Arkansas-Pine Bluff 65-0, Memphis over Austin Peay 63-0, and Pitt over Delaware 62-0.
