My top three choices are Stanford, Wiscousin and Mizzou.

I'm leaning towards Mizzou. I also moved them from SEC to the BIG10. I thought it mapped out better.

Wyoming Dynasty Year 9, Week 2 (0-0) 2021





In their first game of the season, Wyoming dominated overmatched BYU, 41-0 at Frank Powell Memorial Stadium. QB #3 Korey Gandy, making his first career start, had a stellar performance as he completed 78% of his passes for 250 yards, 2 TDs, and 1 INT (which wasn't his fault). He tried to rush a few times but BYU sacked him 3 times and he finished with -1 yards rushing, but did score a rushing touchdown.

HB Demario Sparks, in his first start as well, finished with 48 yards on 9 carries, while backup HB #42 Jeff Blanco had just 1 carry but ran it in from 35 yards out for a touchdown. Not sure who to start for next game. Sparks also caught a 20 yard pass. I think that Spark's pass catching ability gives him the edge over Blanco.

True Freshman TE #89 Buster Bryant lead the Cowboys in receiving with 5 catches for 95 yards. He got the pleasure of trucking a poor cornerback, and trust me, it was just the first of many to come in what should be an excellent college career for the star recruit.

FB #43 Guy Powell caught a rare touchdown pass early in the game, as did WR #16 Cedrick Morton.

DE George Sims lead the defense with 5 tackles, 4 TFL, and 2 sacks in an impressive first start. OLB Will Savoy had 4 tackles, 2 TFL, and 1 sack, the same exact stats as MLB Tim Gibson. DT #99 Tim Bowser also had 2 sacks.

BYU was outgained by Wyoming.. 330 to 45! They only had 4 first downs! Unbelievable!

Next week #2 Wyoming will play host to the visiting #10 ranked arch rival Longhorns, who are (1-0) after a 51-24 win over Arkansas. Last week in the 2nd game of the season the Longhorns stunned #1 Wyoming, in what was their first of 2 losses on their disappointing 2020 season. This year the Cowboys are looking to rebound and what better way then to get revenge on one of the teams that beat them last year? Go Wyoming!

2015 SDSU I finally win a National Championship! And in awesome fashion, against a team that blew me out in my 2nd bowl game, Virginia Tech. To give some history, that was my 2nd season as HC. Made it to my 2nd consecutive bowl (1st bowl, year-1 got blown out by South Carolina) to challenge a good Hokies team. It wasn't even close. 35-10 was the final. Never thought I'd see them again. Fast forward to 2015 season and my D is ranked #1 across the board (moved to PAC12 in offseason btw). D playing lights-out, O playing well enough to not screw things up for my D. First, to get to VT in the NC, had to go through Oregon first to claim the PAC12 belt. Faced them earlier in the year in a very hard fought game, came away with the win. Played them again for the belt and took the title in another hard fought game. I'm enjoying having them as rivals.

Then came VT in the NC. Chance for some revenge for blowing me out in my 2nd year. First half was tight, 7-3, me. I picked them off once but couldn't capitalize. Got ball to start 2nd, again it was tight. Then late in 3rd is when things began to click. 2 50+ yard TD bombs from my star QB. They score to keep it tight. I switch to a rush attack for clock control. Back and forth. Finally in 4th, I pull away and don't look back. More passing TDs from my star QB who, during the regular season averaged at least a pick a game. But for the PAC12 belt and NC? No picks, no mistakes, all baller. CLUTCH. Final score was 45-17, in the rain. Payback complete.

SDSU, National Champs!

And going into 2016, a fully stacked SDSU team returns to repeat! Opening with #5 Alabama in their house! Let the dynasty begin...

Usually you just turn the AutoSave feature off during Coaching Carousel, then quit and restart after you've seen all the offers. It'll just go way back to the beginning of the Carousel.

Down to the wire finishes, that's what this rivalry has become all about. The Longhorns and Cowboys yearly matchup is never short on drama. And this year it was no different. With 2 minutes to go Texas had the ball inside their own 20, down 17-12. They drove the length of the field against the Wyoming defense which had been great all game long. Texas completed a pass inside the 5 but was then sacked twice in a row, bring up a 3rd and goal.

True Freshman TE Buster Bryant was player of the game with 5 catches for 144 yards and 1 TD (the game winner). WR #15 Charlie Jones also had a touchdown catch earlier in the game after a tipped pass intended for Bryant landed right in his hands. WR #16 Cedrick Morton had 70 yards receiving on 4 catches.

SS #35 Joe Jacobs lead the defense with 8 tackles and 1 TFL. DT #99 Tim Bowser had another 2 sacks to duplicate his performance last week vs BYU. For the 2nd week in a row the defense did not get any turnovers.

Texas QB Terrance Graves was 14/17 for 204 yards and 1 TD. He also ran for 60 yards. HB Ryan Cook ran 15 times for 103 yards and also had 34 yards receiving. WR Ryan Walker, who had what everyone thought was the 'game winning' catch, the spectacular 1 handed catch in the endzone, finished with 66 yards and 1 TD. TE Justin Young, who killed the Cowboys last year and was largely responsibly for the Longhorns upset thanks to his amazing catch on a 4th down play, was held to just 32 yards. FS Mike Handy was the one responsible for the blown coverage on Buster Bryant's game winning 75 yard touchdown catch with 17 seconds to go. He would not answer questions from reporters.

Wyoming wins it on another miracle touchdown to beat the Longhorns! Although I am sure this one didn't hurt as much as when Mario 'The Legend' Bradley caught the game winning touchdown in the National Championship a few years ago. Every year these teams meet with a lot on the line and its usually a close finish with national championship implications. Can this rivalry get any better? I hope Boise State is taking notes because whenever I play them they never even show up!

The Cowboys advance to (2-0) after the win and Texas moves to (1-1). Wyoming has now moved from #2 to #1, leap frogging Florida. Texas dropped from #10 to #13.

This week Wyoming will be playing @ (1-1) TCU in what should be an easy game as the Horned Frogs got blown out by Syracuse and barely beat USF in overtime.

In other news, #5 Wisconson's 80 overall WR, Adrian Crosby, who I had been recruiting a few years ago, is currently right in the Heisman Race. Through 2 games in which the Badgers beat #20 Maryland and #19 Bama, Crosby has 29 receptions for 482 yards and 4 TDs. IN 2 GAMES! His last game vs Bama? 17 Receptions for 300+ Yards and 3 TDs! WOW! I bet its just a fluke, but holy cow what an amazing start to the season for a guy that's not even that good.

Feeling very excited about this, should have a really fun time with the Hokies. I've done some roster editing for the ACC to give a little extra beef to some lesser than teams without making them studs, and other things that should keep things interesting.

Caps will be limited to 3 per season, first come, first serve. I like Lopakas idea of not updating or bothering with caps for those who don't at least make an occasional appearance here... so I'll follow the same idea.

I finished the regular season 10-2. I lost to Clemson and Florida. Beat UNC to win the ACC title. Will play Arizona in the Orange Bowl. Had plenty of All-Americans. Famous Jameis is first team All-ACC and made the freshman AA team. Wondering how I won the conference but Clemson is ranked ahead of me. Guess because they beat me. Oh well, I get them next year at Doak. Them and Florida.

I'll be moving Tulane to the ACC when we get good enough. Could've went to the SEC, but Tulane has great academics, just like the rest of the ACC. Can't wait to face you guys!
