Ahh, the best part about coaching is that your dream job is actually the last place you'd expect. But it's a lot different than last year where you could get a job with a top-tier program in 2-4 years. Now the top tier schools wont settle for any old coach. So it will take some time, but it's easier to land a good job as a head coach at some other place, rather than as a coordinator.

Right after I defeated Virginia Tech in week 2 of the 2022 season, it shows the scores of other games that were played. It has to be a glitch but I'll ask: Why do I see "FCS E" and "FCS SE" twice? Both had two separate games. Whereas FCS E lost both, FCS SE won one game and lost the other. Weird.

Again, I decided to stay with Army, and boy am I glad that I did.

I schedule my first game against Wisconsin. A team that was trying to lure me away.

Army starts the season off at Camp Randall Stadium.

I started off really hot. Offense was on a roll in the first half. Second half couldn't get nothing going.

Defensively we stopped them. We capped them off at three points. We controlled the game and kept the lead.

I'm actually glad to be back with Army. Offensively we still struggle. Defensively we are there. Still need some fine tuning.

        Final Score
        Army: 14
        Wisconsin: 3

It's harder than last year for sure. This year, the top schools won't settle for an OC with A+ prestige, they want a HC with proven experience and a high prestige rating.

I'm in 2021, and have gone from Old Dominion OC --> Texas OC --> North Carolina HC, where I currently just captured a national title after inheriting a 3 star school to begin with. My dream job is Ohio State, and currently Urban Meyer's job security has finally fallen to low, so with another season below expectations it should be mine for the taken. But it took 9 seasons now for that to happen.

Oklahoma State came open in 2018 in my dynasty.

A single FCS team can play multiple games on a week since they are just in place of FCS teams, which there is obviously more then 6 of. That's why any week if you change your schedule you can play any FCS team

My running back just scored 6 TD in a single game against Houston. Probably the best run game I've had since playing this game.

OK State came open in 2015 in mine after two sub par seasons as well as South Carolina with Spurrier retiring. Those were the only 2 "top" openings so far.

So right now, I'm 4-0 in the 2022 season. My fourth opponent was unranked Missouri. ESPN said "Blowout Alert" because I was facing the "lousy" Tigers. Boy were they right. That team's defense was useless! I racked up 981 in total yards and the final score had me winning 97-7. Both my starter and 2nd String QBs & HBs annihilated them. Last time I blew out a team this bad was when I was offensive coordinator for Boise St and put 112 points on a team (and so far the only game where I racked up 1,000 total yards).

I have to ask and i dont mean anything bad by it but is it really fun to just dominate like that? Seems that would be a bit boring to me.

I agree. Its one thing to dominate a weaker team.. but man.. 1000 yards? what the hell..? after I get a big lead I start running out the clock, like a real life team would. What quarter length are you playing on Crimson_Patriot? I play 6 minute quarters and the most I ever put up was maybe 600 yards and 50-60 points.

I play on default 5 minute quarters in Dynasty (I play maybe anywhere between 6-10 in "Play Now"). Also, just want to say I'm not playing on Freshman difficulty. I am a casual gamer, but I like a challenge myself. It does get boring when you put up so many points on the board, but you can't blame yourself for that. You have to blame your opponent for sucking so bad. I currently have Offense difficulty at Varsity and Defense difficulty at All-American. An upgrade to Heisman on Defense may be needed. I'm more of an offensive guy so I don't care for defense that much. I actually hope the other team scores when I sim defense play in Dynasty.
