Re: 50(ish) Threshold-based Slider Set for NCAA 14
Well, I think I created a monster
Started a dynasty with 2013 Arkansas. After a drubbing of ULL, I went to Austin to renew an old rivalry versus Texas...bad decision.
It was a close 21-13 game at the half. Texas scored a FG to go up 24-13 and after a possession ended without points, got the ball back. After a big sack, I got them in a 4th and 15 on their 47....then it happened...they went for a fake punt and Punter Anthony Fera aired it out to Duke Thomas for a 53 yard TD. Late in the 4th, Johnathan Gray went off for a 43 yard TD run (he broke a run earlier for 60 when I gambled with aggressive big hits...I changed that back).
Went on a drive and managed a TD early in the fourth, Texas kicked a FG, then a broke a KO return for a 100 yard TD. Texas scored another TD for the final score of the game.
Previously with the Fatigue "on" in the main menu, this was exactly the sort of game I would dominate in the second half...not anymore
If anyone wants to see the gory details, here are the team stats:

I pretty much did! I mean, they completely caught me napping...it was a very human-like move to make...Play the games you love, not the games you want to love.Comment

Yup, that's exactly the reason I made the change...if you have a mis-match in your favor or if you get game-changing plays, you can do it...but, I'm not seeing that crazy collapse by the CPU in the second half.Play the games you love, not the games you want to love.Comment

This should work for a dynasty already in progress?

Hey, JoshC... not sure if anyone has asked yet but are these sliders going to be the same on PS3 and Xbox 360?
I'm pretty sure you are PS3 and wonder if the games have any subtle differences or anything you've noticed or if any substantial testing has been done on the 360. Thanks!Comment
