Oh yeah I forgot about that, I put that on there so I can track who I developed in the game prep from week to week

i would suggest maybe adding a legend explaining some of the different things, like the colors or what some of the not so explanatory columns mean. like whats the difference between the overalls on the roster page, what the FA and OVR columns mean. i assume the team needs is just from the eval spreadsheet? and the player types list is what you've set it to in game? I would change Trait in the position pages to Player Type.

I hate to bust in here with very few posts, but I have been trying to figure out this scouting tool on my own for what is now three off-seasons and I can't get the big board to generate. I apologize in advance but would anyone be able to look at my workbook and see where i messed up the formula? If not I understand but I really want to utilize this to beat my friends out in our draft.

Wow. Crazy looking at how far this tool came.

Sorry for The disappearance. My laptop crashed and burned on me, rendering myself useless in any changes or upgrades here.

But I'm glad the community was able to continue working on this and improving it.

Since the creation, I've been digging deep into MS Access. Maybe next year's tool will be more of a database design/application.

Just trying to get a feel for interest in this tool for the upcoming 2016 Madden.

if you are interested in using it, what improvements should be made? I'll be moving away from the excel version and onto Access, it will clear up a lot of clutter on the sheet.

Also, do you think that scouting and ratings in 2016 will be pretty similar to 2015? I'd like to get a jump start on the tool using the 2015 data i have

Funny you should say that, I am using access right now for all my team needs except the scouting. Haven't figured out the macro's yet but it does pretty much what I need. Glad you back bty.

Yea, access is the shiz. It's pretty much a pretty version of what excel can do.

I want to creating a massive tool. Roster evaluation, scouting, contracts, free agents, etc.

I would like to see that if you get it going. How can I upload mine and show you what I have so far? I forgot how I did it last time.

You'll have to .zip or .ear it then upload it, depending on the file size. If it's too large, you'll have to use something like Google drive and share the link.

I think Access dbs can get pretty large, the equipment tracker I created for work is upwards near the 40-50 MB mark.

I'll have a look in about an hour, it's when my lunch break hits.

Do you have your team information filled out on there already? I can't remember if on my scouting tool I had input already. I want to start my 2016 tools foundation today but I'll need scouting info.

Btw. You from the Houston area? I'm trying to plan a trip to opening game this season, KC vs. HOU
