I just choose that team's coach. Cut a guy. Sign a 3rd stringer. Then play the game.

can you just select the teams 3rd strin qb or do you have to create a player and make him the 3rd string qb

You can select an active 3rd stringer. Just make sure they are ****ty enough they won't ever win backup or starting job haha. Also not all teams have a 3rd QB so there's that to watch for too.

I'll try to get them in soon... Just forgot to stress that this is strictly for the cpu because I call my own plays in a standard playbook... I have to kill 40% of the playbook to get this to work... I'm not sure how it would work for a user unless you rely on the suggestion play calling then it might but I haven't tested it that way at all...

so these will work with the coach suggestion, because that's what I do when I'm on offense I let the cpu ai pick the play then I control the players on offense and when I'm on defense I let the cpu ai suggest the play then I let the cpu take over I only play offense and I use Armor & swords sliders would this make much of any difference at all?

I suggest even signing a 4th QB to each team, just to be safe - and assign that guy the player with the work-around.

I've done an initial cut of Minnesota, Arizona and Carolina.

Going to keep plowing through the rest then go back and tweak with team tendencies. Right now they are focused on removing bad cpu plays and run/pass ratios for the teams. Carolina has a slight red zone preference for cam and Olsen but need to adjust it more. If you play with them, let me know your thoughts.

Edit: Added New England. Best one I've done. Just played them with the Bengals. They won 25-16. Brady was 37 of 53 for 359 and a TD. Gronk had 11 for 157 and a TD. Hogan, Edelman, Washington and Amendola all had 4 for between 40 and 50 yards. Blount went for 47 on 15 carries.

I've followed the setup instructions to a T on the first page. I create a 3rd string QB profile, place the custom playbooks on the team, and prepare to start the game. However, every time I load up the game, several problems arise. The first being that the game crashes at loading and I'm forced to restart the entire game. The second is that the game I selected the custom playbook for begins to play but deep into the first quarter it crashes again.

I've tried playing to same game at least 5 times with these problems reoccurring. Is anyone else experiencing this post patch or does anyone have a remedy to the problem?

Does anyone have any good deep shot plays the cpu can run well. That's the big piece my Arizona book is missing and I need to drop a couple in for Carolina as well.

I had the same issue. Only remedy was to set the game up with custom playbooks through advanced settings in menu right before the games. Once both are set you need to back out with the main controller to your franchise menu then go back to the game. Now don't touch the advanced settings button just move CPU controller to the middle and it will remember the playbook u set for it. Only way I could avoid the freezing. Just don't touch anything besides ready button the 2nd time u go into the controller select screen. Lemme know if this helps

Download them all to a second profile on your system. That way they will all be saved and when u have a 2nd controller signed in u can choose any of those downloaded playbooks. I have one custom on my account and 31 custom on my "cpu" profile.

Are you on ps4? How do you assign 31 custom playbooks to the 2nd profile?

Falcons won 31-29 on a failed 2 pt conversion by Minnesota.

Very happy with how these played. Run pass splits were fantastic considering Atlanta ran more at the end with a lead and Minnesota had to throw more. Also happy with who was the focus of each teams gameplan.

Looking for a play I cant find from madden 16.

PA Y Cross shot, don't remember what formation, I believe its gun, might be pistol. 3 wr &1 te. 2 wrs on the left one the right. outside wrs go on go routes, inside left wr fakes a bubble screen. TE on the right of the line goes on a go route also
