    I agree with this. I have a good running game but when the box count is heavily in my favor I should be having more success than an even hat count. It makes me apprehensive to audible to a run in some cases when it looks so tempting

      I have, in my online CFM with the 49ers. Using a lot of 2 HB sets to confuse which direction the run is going has seemed to help out a lot. I also have 2 speed backs as will in McKinnon and Breida, so that may also be contributing.

        You can make a living off of nothing but stretch and inside zone, but if your PB has them don't sleep on 01 Traps. Against the right fronts it's a free 7+ yards. They are a really good complement to inside zone, especially out of shotgun. You can have a one-two punch in the run game that prevents your opponent from running light box defenses against your 11 personnel.

            I have not seen this this year. I know it was a problem last year. Are you for sure this happens. I have accidentally button mashed trying to get through seeing what my coach looks like for the 200th time in the game and called the wrong defense and it has not happened. I hope that is a distant memory.

              I scored a TD in a H2H game today because I caught someone in dollar against my 3 TE set. I ran three straight dives since they weren't willing to burn a TO. I got instant pancakes on 2 out of 3 snaps.

                Had my first hundred yard day rushing today with Melvin Gordon getting 130 with a long Rush of 13 yards on 21 carries. S

                  I have not seen this at all!! Only thing I have gotten is instant block shed and i have picked up a few yards just because someone else was there to block. Most I have gotten on a run against these fronts is like 4 yards.

                    In game coaching adjustments could be part of the cause.

                      The pancake thing just happened to me in a recent game. I was in a dime running a cover 2. All my linemen just went down and the CPU HB got a 68 yard TD run. I couldn’t believe it ... then I read about it here and realized that was what happened to me. Only happened that one time but I usually only play Dime on 3rd and long.

                            The problem there is double teams. If you watch your Line closely, they'll always double team the wrong players.

                            For example: Take the Packers D-Line, not really much outside of Kenny Clark and Mike Daniels. In a quarter set there 3 down linemen, Some 4th stringer lined up right(Wilkerson was hurt), Mike Daniels at NG, and whoever their LE is. My C sucks, bad. But the OL decided to double team the 4th stringer and leave the C alone with Mike Daniels. That's an easy shed and a TFL for Daniels.

                            Madden needs to give better control to player's over their offensive line and allow them to be able to assign double teams pre-snap.

                              Anyone find any semblance of a running game yet?

                              I’m on All-Madden using Charters set mostly with a tweak from Matt10 and and personal tweak. I’ve been able to get solid rushing stats from the cpu and myself.

                              I’ve had Johnson, Gurley, Blount all rush for over 100 something yards and tear me up for big gains and scores. I’ve had a solid run game as well for the most part. But being the Seahawks, it isn’t too great anyways.

                              If anyone is curious, everything on Charters OP for his sliders I’m following except;

                              User/CPU

                              QB accuracy 36/49
                              Run block 56/64
                              Tackle 38/38
                              Fumbles 40/48

                              Been very promising stat wise. There is times the silly unneeded jukes will happen, but not as bad anymore. I think the lower tackling really helps. Blount just burned me in my game off 3 broken tackles for 58 yards. Didn’t score, but set the Lions up for a score.

                              If anyone is interested, here you go. I thought it might help! (:

                                I'm having a blast with Charter's sliders too. The only issues are coverage and blocking which are both game issues at the moment.

                                The biggest issue I've had overall though, is fumbling. I fumble way too much and the AI never fumbles at all. I've recovered maybe 3 fumbles compared to losing 13 over the course of this season I'm in. I haven't really found a fix for making the AI fumble more but moving fumble slider up to 56 makes it more realistic for the user.
