Is the mix matched cleats on players a bug or a glitch or something of the sort or was it done on purpose? I just noticed Chris Godwin for the Bucs has a team colored cleat on one foot and an all black cleat on the other.

Definitely a bug. And while I’m here I might as well whine that it’s lame we can’t assign black cleats to individual players.Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 24 Patch Fixes Draft Class Issues, Slow UI, Franchise Mode & Much More
I like this game and am hoping to get 6-10 years of franchise before the next one comes out but this isn't a simulation of what we see on Sundays (just based off penalties alone and idc for penalties) but as I was waiting for the draft bug fix last couple weeks, I played a lot of 2k5, Madden 05, 08 & 11 and there are things those game do better than 24 with regards to gameplay/presentation/customization/coaching etc.
There shouldn't be issues people coming in and saying they didn't buy the game or whatnot but I do get some issue with people who haven't played 24 saying it sucks, at least play it (and not for 5min) before coming to that conclusion

I don't think even people who like this game think it's the best in series history or anything. But it plays really well, and I find it fun. It is an improvement over Madden 21 and 22 for sure.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 24 Patch Fixes Draft Class Issues, Slow UI, Franchise Mode & Much More
So would y’all recommend the game for a strictly offline franchise player now that the draft class issue is fixed? I haven’t bought the game since Madden 20 or 21, I know gameplay has improved but my big concern is the cpu not playing rookies due to their overall being lower than a vet so they never play and don’t accumulate XPLast edited by JayD; 10-10-2023, 11:28 AM.Comment

Since the patch I had a game where the kicking popup was blocking the meter, has anyone else seen this? I sent two kickoff out of bounds because I was kicking blind.Bills, Sabres, Illini, Cubs, basically any team that abuses its fanbase and I'm there.Comment

Did they change something with swats when the ball is in the air? For some reason when I press swat my guys are diving. And not diving swat attempts just diving lolComment

This last patch has me finally invested, having a rough, but enjoyable time with the Denver Broncos.
I don't follow them in real life, but Russ's contract is absolutely HORRIBLE.
Might take me 5 seasons before I'm actually confident we can make the playoffs.Comment

Really wish EA Madden would create an option to start an expansion team for example a London Franchise as a new team or one of the relocation locations they currently use. Have ability to just add them to an existing division. Like AFC South for example.
Have the ability to get #1 pick in draft and select unprotected players from from current teams rosters etc, just like The Texans did in 2002. Drafting Carr #1 having the extra compensatory picks all that good stuff. Would be a great option to add o the game!Comment

Re: Madden NFL 24 Patch Fixes Draft Class Issues, Slow UI, Franchise Mode & Much More
I just simmed a cloud franchise to the Wild Card round. The team I am in control of did not manage the reps well at all, but I went through multiple other teams and chose starters at random and all were in the green. My settings were set to manual, so I am assuming during the sim it just left the starters getting all the reps like I had it set initially.
It's encouraging that not a single starter from a CPU team I selected was showing as fatigued. Some players were not fatigued while others were slightly fatigued, but none were in worse shape than that.
That's better than before, right? Wasn't the issue before that teams were running their guys into the ground and they'd be in the yellow fatigue state when looking at their health tab in the menu?“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Doesn't seem like it's completely fixed to me with what you're saying, but I do I have it on in my latest CFM, which I'm only in Week 2 so far.
As a human player, I just split reps or go strictly backups when I get later in the season and definitively prior to a playoff game.
I'm using the Broncos, so there is no chance we are making the playoffs, so I'll take a look at the CPU teams in the playoffs and then either leave it on for season 2 or just turn it off for good.
Thanks again for the testing!Comment
