I agree, but his stats aren't really there. I just looked them up out of curiosity. There are 3 standout seasons really, and his total yards and td's would be very low for the HOF.

As of right now, no in my opinion. Based on play alone, if he can lead the Cardinals to a couple really nice postseason trips then yes and of course if can accumulate some more statistical numbers.

yes, i think so, effiecient passer, MVP's , super bowls, steady paced winner, great person/ role model... I say yes he just really knows how to play the game. nubers arent supernatural like some elite players but still a underatted player.

I hope he doesn't get in over a guy like McNair, whose carried his team for years, and didn't have Isaac Bruce, Torry Holt, Amani Toomer, Anquan Boldin, and Larry Fitzgerald to throw to.

Kind of the same scenario as Terrel Davis. Shorter careers, but some standout seasons.

My vote would be 100% yes for Warner

Except, of course, that Kurt Warner has two league MVP's under his belt.

I thought he was Hall of Fame material prior to this season.

                    Nothing's changed.

Yeah, but those three seasons were phenomenal. I think he was on the bubble until this season but this will put him over the top, especially if the Cards get to the Super Bowl.

Warner should not be discredited because he has had weapons. Maybe he makes those weapons better?

I didn't hear that much about fitz and boldin before warner was on the scene?

                        He should make it.

Not first ballot. But in there eventually.

Does anyone else think there are too many people in the hall of fame?

I used to think that, but then i realized that 250+ new players enter the nfl every year, yet there are only 216 players in the hall, which basically means that every year you may see 2-3 hall of fame calibur players come into the league, which seems about right to me.

As far as kurt warner is concerned, he should definitely make the hall, and had the cards not lost against minnesota and new england so badly(had they won those games he probably wouldve been mvp this year) he wouldve been an automatic first balloter in my mind, and could still be if he somehow wins another superbowl mvp.

If Kurt Warner were to lead the Arizona Cards to and win a super bowl. He would be a 100% first ballot HOFer IMO. That being said I think even if he doesn't he will still get in eventually. Those rams teams it seemed like the ball never hit the ground when they were playing. He also seems like a really good guy outside the white lines, deeply devoted to his faith and family and active in charitable causes. Either way I have a new found respect for the man.

You can always build more wings..... my question has always been: at what point do you stop retiring numbers. We ain't switching to letters or triple digits anytime soon people!

Well as I sit here today I need to re-think my answer. I think Warner is borderline at the moment. If he takes the Cards to the SB though he's a lock in my book.
