When you find a QB that won 2 MVPs, a Super Bowl MVP, made it to 3 SBs, posted the 3rd highest QB rating in NFL history, the 2nd highest completion percentage, and the highest passing YPG, that wasn't inducted into the hall, let me know.

And when you find me a Hall of Fame QB that was dominate for 4 years, and then went completely irrelevant for about 5 years, losing his starting job 3 times, getting cut from his team twice, having a winning percentage of .375(9-24)during a 5 year span, and posted nothing but mediocre(sometimes awful)stats, let me know.

And his career stats still compare very favorably to other HOF QBs. Did I not already point out that Namath/Unitas were riding the pine at certain points as well?

I can understand why you would continuously dodge the question though, since the answer is obvious.

Let's not forget it WASN'T four years of dominance with the Rams it was THREE. So we are really only looking at FOUR great seasons not five. Four years is not long enough for the Hall of Fame.

I never dodged anything. I just didn't comment on it because it was a really stupid point. Unitas was 40 years old when he got benched, and that was after like 15 years of completely dominating the league. Warner got benched after just 4 years in the league.

Warner has had about 5 good years in the league...with 6 bad years in the league. Warner=not a hall of famer. You can't have more bad years than good years.

Yep, the fact that no other 2-time MVP winner and Super Bowl champion QB hasn't been inducted is completely irrelevant. Much like his 3rd highest QB rating, 2nd highest completion %, and highest passing YPG? LOL.

If it were convenient to your point, you would have answered the question.

Warner has had two MVP seasons ('99, '01), two other very good seasons ('00, '08) and four decent seasons ('04-'07). His only bad seasons were his injury-rife 2002 and 2003 seasons.

According to my calculations, that's 4 good seasons compared to two bad seasons and four other decent seasons. Nice math.

What? This post doesn't make any sense...

anyway, I answered your question. And there is no comparison. Unitas got benched after 15 years of dominance at the age of 40. Warner got benched after 4 seasons in the league. Nice comparison.

His career numbers only are comparable to the hall of fame QB's of the 50's, 60's, and 70's. That was a different ERA of football. If you put his career numbers next to the Hall of Fame QB's of this era like Montana, Elway, Marino, Moon and others they aren't close. All of those guys beside Aikman and Young have over 40,000 yards and close to if not more than 300 TD's. But even Aikman and Young have over 30,000 yards. Kurt doesn't have 30,000 yards or even 200 TD's. You can't compare QB numbers from the 50's,60's, and 70's to now. If that was the case then Vinny Testaverde would be a Hall of Famer.

Stop looking at his QB rating. He fumbled the ball like 500 times. He had more turnovers than games at one point. He went 9-24 from 02-06. THAT'S BAD! He had 6 bad seasons, 5 good ones.

Re: Kurt Warner, Hall of Fame?

Are people seriously ignoring the fact Warner was benched for the first overall pick in the draft, who became a future Super Bowl winning QB. The Giants solely brought him in to mentor Manning, which speaks as much for his HOF worthiness as anything else does.

You didn't. I asked, "Can you name a 2-time NFL MVP and SB champ, with Warner's career resume, that hasn't made it to the HOF?"

Instead, you're avoiding it by asking other ******** questions which have already been answered.

Again man you can't count 04 and 06 has good years or even decent when you get benched for the rest of the year by a rookie QB and had more fumbles and turnovers than games played. That can't be considered good and not even close to Hall of Fame worthy. 05 can't be considered that good of a year when you didn't play but 10 games and had 9 int's, 9 fumbles, and 9 turnovers in those 10 games. Last year was a decent/good season numbers wise for Kurt but again he wasn't the starting QB. He came in after Matt was put out for the year and the team record was horrible.

So you have those 3 years with the Rams and this year with the Cards. So that makes 4 years out of 10. That is not Hall of Fame worthy.

It certainly does. I asked whether there are other QBs with Warner's accolades that haven't been inducted into the HOF. You haven't answered the question for obvious reasons.

Since you called it a "stupid point", I'm assuming that you believe some of his accolades are irrelevant. Either way, my point is that you're not answering the question since it's not really convenient to your point.
