I'll refer back to BK's post.
It's really not. The Wildcat is just a variation of the single wing. With the halfback being the focal point of the offense. He'd basically be the halfback in that offense, as opposed to the QB lined outside or somewhere else in the backfield.

In today's variation of the WC, the QB doesn't come off the field but is usually liked up like a WR, or as almost a wingback.

Like I said it's the singlewing with more motion and pre-snap movement hence the twist on a 70 year old offense.
Troy Smith's "package" had Flacco on the field, usually lined up wide.

      ^lol @ "troy smith's package"
It's known as the "Suggs" package because Terrell Suggs thought Troy should be the QB. Anyway, if Smith can do it, Vick can do it... I think.

^Me, too. And, yet, no one knows anything. He was throwing footballs at a local Virginia Beach high school, recently, though. Just saw that on espn.com

I guess they have more information on things like that in Nevada than Baltimore.

BTW, Suggs was asked about Smith when Flacco was named the starter and he said he thinks he's talented and deserves to play. The national media wrote it that Suggs wanted him to start which Suggs corrected shortly after... and that was backed up bc Smith did get to play. That's why the media called it the Suggs package. But not like any of that matters bc it's the package where Troy Smith plays so don't really even know what your "correction" is here.

I think he should go to the UFL and refine his skills there i mean they are offering him their biggest contract just to play 6 games instead of taking the NFL minimum plus it give teams to look at you and probably change their mind and offering him a contract. I really hopes he sign to a UFL team.

I mean if i was in his position i would go to route take the pressure of you, you can focus on football, i hope he doesnt play like his old form running like a chicken got its head cut off. EVen though he is the best scramble QB he had some butter fingers man, he fumbles alot.

Well i heard he hired the best trainer to refine his QB skills i hope this trainer is telling he has to throw the ball more and less running around when its not necessary.

Im about 98% sure this won't happen but still interesting to say the least:

Packers don't rule out signing Vick

Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on August 4, 2009 1:53 PM ET
Asked about Michael Vick at a press conference Tuesday, Packers G.M. Ted Thompson took the Bill Belichick approach: He said what he says about every free agent.

"Uh, what is the answer that we give to questions like this? We're always looking to improve our team and we look at all options at all times," Thompson said, after a reported sigh.

"I wouldn't care to speculate in terms of the odds or anything like that."

Thompson went on to say "we look at everything," which may anger some shareholders in Green Bay.

But likely reason for his vague answer is that Thompson is just trying to be consistent, like Belichick was. Every team must consider all available players, if only briefly.

Thompson says Vick doesn't warrant any special process because of his past.

"The routine we go through is the same. It doesn't mean anymore that we're more likely or less likely to do it. It's a routine that we go through. It's automatic," Thompson said.

Vick apparently doesn't warrant a special press conference denial either, even if any signing is a longshot.

The comments may get played up because of Green Bay's questionable quarterback situation after Aaron Rodgers. They could potentially be looking for a veteran upgrade at their backup spot.

Thompson could also be keeping his options open just in case emergency strikes, like if Rodgers was injured.

Still, it's not like the Packers or any other NFL team are known to have shown serious interest in Vick.

Vick has been available for more than a week and hasn't been offered a contract or taken a workout. That speaks louder than any non-answer at a press conference.

Except Michael Vick is nowhere NEAR what Brett Favre or Jerry Rice were.

Thompson is like this all the time with all the players in the league.

                              He is very coy.

Mike Tomlin gave a similar reply on arrival day at Steeler camp.

If I recall correctly, he basically said they are looking at each and every free agent that may help the team win. As per his policy (which is similar to that of most head coaches, I assume), he doesn't speak about individual free agents so he wouldn't comment on Vick.
