NFL attorney says the league IS investigating Rob Gronkowski's party gambling cruise event to see if it violates the NFL gambling.

Fallout from the Tony Romo fantasy football ruling.

Spokesperson for the NFL refuted that and said they are not investigating.

In other TMZ news, video of Johnny Manziel partying in a nightclub this past Thursday has emerged. I don't know if the hat and glasses were fashion accessories or Johnny's idea of a sophisticated disguise.

Man let that dude party. Not like he has anything else to do right now.

Considering his very recent history and his current situation? No, him chugging a bottle of champagne is poor judgement.

Several months ago I said the same thing as you did, but it is fair to say he seems to be incapable of partying responsibly.

If he doesn't care then why should we?

I'm sure he knows by now what's at stake and he doesn't seem to care, which is fine as long as he knows that.

I'm talking about Johnny. Gronk can party as much as he chooses for all I care.

I care in the loose sense of the word. I'm not going to lose any sleep over it, but I do disagree with yours and bigeast's response that came off like let him party, he is not hurting anyone.

And yeah, I'll admit that there is something of a gossipy element to it.

Not a single penny that I make at my job goes into Johnny's pocket, so he can do whatever he wants.

I just don't think it's a big deal. Not the first nor will it be the last time we'll see him in a club.

Care (using that word very loosely) is about him as a person, not his soon to be over football career. There's a long list of people no longer with us who started where Johnny is right now. Seems more than just another partying rich kid at this point.

If he parties himself to death, I won't lose any sleep but I certainly understand people being concerned that his behavior appears to be going in the wrong direction.

Yeah I won't be up at night sobbing over Johnny Football, but as a human being I hate to see somebody else flushing their life down the toilet. I don't know how anybody can take the approach of letting him keep doing what he's doing when it's clearly already past the no big deal point because it's cost him a job. We're saying it's no big deal now and then will be lamenting how his life could have spiraled so far out of control when we're reading that AP report of his death or if he's in a Delonte West type situation.

I was going to say he doesn't, but you're right. He just doesn't care. So why should we?

I mean when your own parents come out and say they expect you dead by your next birthday, and you're out doing the same **** that they believe will lead you to your grave... you got problems. Addiction/abuse/mental, whatever they are.

I know it's the media's job to report these things, and Manziel's name is an easy sell for any media outlet, but I wish they would give it a rest. We're watching from the sidelines as a great young talent wrecks his career and life. We all know people like him who struggle with drugs/alcohol, and getting help and staying clean is hard enough as it is. But to have the world watch and comment as you crash and burn is like insult to injury.

Unfortunately, his fame giveth... and now it shall taketh. Meanwhile, a kid with half the talent but a million times the work ethic and discipline can't get a scholarship because he had to drop out of school to provide for his brothers and sisters while his parents search for their next fix. Life is cruel and we're not all given the same chances. Some make the best, some make the worst.
