Probably end up being smart getting that done now instead of after Mahomes next year (and to a lesser extent some of the other deals between now and then).

What, with no drama, incessant circus, threats, bitching, moaning, whining or attention-whoring? Didn't know that was possible.

Yeah, the RB’s and to an extent defenders who play multiple positions being designated at a lower price (like Clowney being called an LB because the tag is cheaper than a DE) I generally am on their side for holdouts. Julio wanting a new contract after getting one a year or two before though? Not so much.

I just feel bad overall for RB’s. They’re fighting a battle that all the numbers say they can’t and shouldn’t win. Each situation has its unique circumstances though.

The NFL has given the Browns permission to make their Color Rush uniforms their primary home uniform for 2019. They'll wear them for 6 home games, starting this Sunday. They'll wear the other brown jerseys for the other 2 home games.

Also, who gets the leaks and how they're worded makes it obvious most of them are coming from the team. It's another tactic used to pressure players into folding.

Yesterday was the first time I've heard from Zeke. Jerry Jones on the other hand.....

                      Schefter:

Antonio Brown posted the fine letter on social media that Raiders’ GM Mike Mayock sent him. It led to an exchange, which is now leading to further discipline. This is not going away anytime soon.

The Next Chapter: Antonio Brown and GM Mike Mayock got into it Wednesday, and the team is now planning to suspend its star wide receiver, league sources tell ESPN.

It's almost like he doesn't want to play. Maybe he realized the grass isn't always green somewhere else.

At this point, he is going to find it hard to find a team if he doesn't fix his issues and gets cut.

I suspect he won't have any shortage of suitors if he were suddenly available.

Immense talent, sad what is happening with him on a personal level right now. Glad the Steelers got what they could for him, couldn't imagine the drama with him this season.
