Whatever happens on a football field is real football. Except for 60% of the time QBs are hit.

"Real football" is subjective and is a term people use to sound tougher when everyone already knows football is a tough sport regardless of the weather or final score in my opinion.

          Pssh, that's what sissies say.

Real men play football in freezers, with broken bones sticking out of their skin and won't remember the game the next day. If someone doesn't need smelling salts, it wasn't a real hit.

Was the Chiefs Colts game today "real football?"

              Maybe real good offensive football.

              Poor tackling and defensive football.

Not sure, tried to look up the definition of real football and couldn't find it.

                What is it?

Glad that we were treated to Two close, tightly contested Playoff games to start this Wild Card weekend. Here's to Two more exciting games tomorrow.

Funny that both of the teams that lost the Turnover margin today Won.

It appears that winning in this postseason means trailing at halftime and having your quarterback throw multiple interceptions.

Looks like Andy Dalton and the Bengals should be favorites then.

A quick question regarding when away teams typically fly in for their games.

Do most teams typically fly in a couple days before an away game to get acclimated or is it pretty much standard to fly in the day prior to an away game?

Pretty sure the standard procedure is to fly the day before the game, unless cross country travel or predicted poor weather forced you to fly in early.

When I played in HS it was usually hot and humid, the weather seemed pretty tangible to me. WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN
The way I read his comment was, real football weather is whatever is happening outside. I would say domes are "fake football weather" only because domes really are artificial atmospheres and football is an outdoor sport. I can tell you that it wasn't 72 outside Lucas Oil Stadium yesterday. I still wonder how much it costs to heat a dome. Keeping a building that big and open at 72 seems excessive. Maybe I'm cheap but put at 60 and call it a day.

Oh and of all the nationally televised "football" games in the US, only one game counts as real football. Go Army, beat Navy!

I'm just not gonna respond because clearly you hate 90% of football games played in a season.

My point being tho, rendering my opening line uses less, is that real football is any football game played on a football field
