Well I've never heard him because the HR derby in itself is interminably annoying lol. That's one of the most unwatchable spectacles in all of sports. Hell I even watched a WNBA game today without hating it, in spite of 50,000 references to title IX.

Would much rather watch the HR Derby over the WNBA or Pro Bowl, at least they actually try lol

I think the WNBA would be decent with a better commentary crew. I've learned through ESPN that anything featuring Pam Ward is unwatchable. Not because of her (ok maybe a little), but mainly because they only give her the most disinteresting (probably not a word) assignments.

I'd easily take the pro bowl over the HR derby.

I'd rather watch a 36 hour marathon of Meerkat Manor than the HR derby. But that's because I loved Meerkat Manor.

I personally see no problem with it . I watched some of the WCWS myself. Then again we have been watching the Lions for years.

On another note, I went through PFT's police blotter thing, and I find it crazy that only twice since 2009 has the NFL gone over 1 month without having an arrest. Currently we are at 14 days.

I wish I could say that arrest timer surprised me... but there are way too many athletic idiots.

And.... when did they find time to install basketball courts in kitchens? I guess that's where they got the saying "taking home the silverware" from?
