I guess I just don't see giving the mother of your child money to keep your child away from you as showing responsibility.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I definitely understand where you're coming from.

But it's better than him just saying o well and leaving her on her own.

So what would you consider taking responsibility? Leaving his family? The woman knowingly had an affair with a married man. Him taking financial responsibility is the best outcome she could have hoped for.

Staying in his kid's life? He knowingly had an affair despite being married and instead of showing actual responsibility and taking care of his kid, he gives the mom money to take the kid away. That's sad, especially when people will talk **** about a normal dude without the resources of Dan Marino for not taking care of his kid.

True. I guess I just look at it as he could have done much worse given the situation. Maybe now that the story is out there, the daughter and him can form some sort of relationship.

Gil Brandt says he'd take Julio Jones over Calvin Johnson if he had a choice between the both of them.

                  He's an idiot.

I hope he still realizes Fitzgerald is better than both....

Gil Brandt knows more football than we could ever hope to know in our lifetimes but that's just crazy talk.

I don't think that statement is that far off. Especially considering how much more experience megatron has than Julio.

So you're gonna take the guy with LESS experience?

Now onto a feel good story.

Donald Driver has retired from football.

                            Class guy going out classy.

He's always been a great guy from what i've seen. You never hear any crap associated with him and I always viewed him as a consummate pro who was a leader on the field.

It'll be weird not seeing him with the Packers.

Yup. I don't think megatron is that much better than him to think it'd be crazy to choose Julio. And being younger means he still has a ton of room to grow in the mental department. Please don't make me defend a Falcon. Please.
