Re: NFL Off Topic
The biggest flaw in it was thinking he could stop the Saints from getting a first down after the FG result (make or miss). He hadn't stopped them all game.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Changing the subject, the goalpost dunk is going to be banned as a celebration now, right? I mean, why is a player allowed to do something that potentially delays play when other non-invasive celebrations are flagged?Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
I don't really care about the percentages but Mike Smith and that decision are everything that I hate about the vast majority of NFL coaches. He's 2-8 and playing a rival, what the hell is he being conservative for? There's absolutely nothing left to lose, especially in a game the players are calling their Super Bowl.
Because Jimothy Tyrell Graham is better than everyone else.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

But then again, I don't think Endzone Celebrations should be flag worthy anyway, regardless of what it is.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: NFL Off Topic
I could see the excuse being made that the football is being used as a prop during a TD. I see no harm in the goalpost dunk. But the NFL using the excuse mentioned to ban it wouldn't surprise me.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Random question: We all know the NFL is the "King of the Jungle" when it comes to Sports and drawing high numbers and whatnot, but on a scale of 1-10(with 1 being the worst) how would you rate the quality of the NFL over the last....say 5-6 years?#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: NFL Off Topic
There are too many artificial timeouts that disrupt the flow of games. That's my biggest gripe. I believe that you can still play defense and make solid tackles without being called for penalties. I cringe every time I see someone talk about "putting flags on the players". People say they will stop watching, but that's a load of BS. They still show up every week and lap it up. For as much as people like to bitch about the league, they're still doing way more right than they are doing wrong.
That would be a lot more sad if it wasn't the result of a lost bet.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
I give the NFL a 7 out of 10. Because while it may not be the greatest on the field product, it's still football. And the NFL keeps me glued all day Sunday and throughout the playoffs (which I like that the refs let the defenses play a little more).Comment
