I don't think he will ever get healthy again and his attitude holds him back as well. He comes off as one of those guys we all know who has a arrogant answer for everything.

      Ralph Wilson Stadium:

Obviously field will be cleaned up and all for Sundays game, but I want to see a snow game again! I watched the Lions-Eagles game last year just for the snow, and it was awesome/entertaining to watch, not just cause of the snow, but cause of all the crazyness such as fumbles, players falling and all that.

Marshawn Lynch fined $100k for ducking media commitments again.

Edit, now that I'm not on my phone...: It's actually a $50k fine, in addition to the $50k that they held off on fining him in 2013 on appeal I think and said 'don't do it again or you'll be paying this too'. He was warned last week after doing something similar.

Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch has been fined $50,000 for violating the NFL's media policy, the league confirmed Wednesday to ESPN.

Article says he's only talked to the media once this year, looks like they've given him plenty of leeway. Wonder if this is $50k a pop or escalates from there.

I would be so down for this and it would be an awesome first Buffalo experience for an out-of-town Bills fan, but it's likely I wouldn't be able to make it to the area coming from the mid-Atlantic area.

For a moment there I was set to go. Then, reality...

Since then, it's been a ****storm of injury and drama. I don't completely blame RG3. It's on many people, mainly in the front office and coaching (past, and somewhat present) and of course also on the player himself. The team isn't good, but they probably shouldn't be this bad either.

Any coach is going to play second fiddle to RG3 because Snyder made it that way. He had one good season and Snyder started riding him, huge investment or not. So the message is getting mixed: RG3 is being told he's the man, the coach is being told the same, of course they're going to butt heads. I'm also not sure how good of a coach Gruden is.

Snyder just meddles way too much. It's one thing with the injuries and stuff, but when your owner is kind of going behind backs inflating egos or whatever, it's not conducive to sustained success.

Why do coaches keep trying to change players to fit their mould? Every athletic QB has to be a pocket passer -- why does that make sense? RG3 seemed destined to break the mould, because he was accurate; like a probably less explosive runner then Mike Vick but way better as a passer. You can't make these guys think their way through games, they need to play their game. Of course, you want to encourage taking care of your body and not turning the ball over but don't dumb down the game they've thrived on playing. That game may not have longevity, but it produces results in the short term.

I think RG3 still has greatness in him. But if this keeps up, he'll be damaged goods by the time he gets out of Washington, because the real problem (Snyder) ain't going anywhere.

Snyder created this, and now he has to live with it. He should have hired a coach who was on board with what he wants RG3 to do; instead just like every coach before him, he hired a guy who wants to "fix" his athletic QB and make him a pocket passer. It almost never works. Stop trying!

Yeah if I was anywhere close I'd be in for sure. Will settle for sunny and 60s in Vegas with Sunday Ticket yet again. Sigh.

Wasn't he laying on the bench or something instead of going in for halftime?

He wanted to stay in the elements and/or get worked on out there rather than go in and warm up, yeah. Media commitments are after the game though, not halftime.

That's what I'm saying! And I'm a run the ball, tough defense guy. But you take these incredible athletes and QB's so high in the draft based on what they've done... then try to reinvent them? It makes no sense to me.

Yes, players have to mature in the pro game. But to try to stop them from doing what they've always done is just stupid. We keep seeing the same results. Everyone says a rushing QB won't survive in the NFL, but how do we know? They've all been broken by coaches trying to change them instead of letting the player play his game. Vick is the closest we've seen, and while he's had his bumps and bruises whenever he was the starter, he's been in the league for 10+ years now.

I know health & money is an issue but there has to be some teams who would take 5 years of an explosive athletic QB instead of the crapshoot of finding a franchise QB otherwise. With the rookie wage scale in place, a team has got to take a chance on one of these QB's in the future.

You missed my posts that say this doesn't apply in DC. Robert is the one that has demanded they stopped using him that way, and has (judging from watching the games) refused to run things as designed when he's been put in the position to use his legs.
