Did he just sign with Oakland or has he been there since he got released?

          Just signed there today. LOL

In a surprise move on the cusp of the regular season, the pass-rush-needy Oakland Raiders have signed former San Francisco 49ers LB Aldon Smith to a one-year deal.

He's on the 53 man roster now anyways.

Giants could have at least let him play out the season first.

Seems like they're rewarding Eli for the Superbowl wins, the goodwill for community work, as much as what he's likely to produce.

Maybe the defense will be rebuilt towards the second part of that extension.

That's a dangerous precedent to go by if that's the case.

Doesn't the face of the franchise often get more than their actual on field production?

Plus, that is the market for QBs. His deal lines up with Philip Rivers and Rothlisberger from the same draft class.

lol, Bowe not even active today for the Browns, he sure has fallen far.

Differing reports on if he's in the dog house or it's really because of a hamstring injury.

                              .

                              Depends on the position.

But in this case, if you're paying him for what he did for you 4-5 years ago and current production has been pretty much awful(for who knows what), then something's not adding up here.

Chris Carter was praising Randy Moss as being the best receiver to come out of the draft in 20 years, while Keyshawn was chuckling and eventually mock punched Carter. Embarrassing-does he believe he belongs in the same conversation as Moss?
