Really cool read on the Panthers offense and how they're masking deficiencies with their scheme.

Matt Weston looks at how the Carolina Panthers constructed a playoff caliber roster despite the disadvantages they faced, and how the organization masks their weakest units with their scheme.

No need to apologize. It is the Lions everyone forgets.

But you guys aren't the only ones I've seen forget about the season Golden Tate had last year. Hell, we don't make the playoffs without him. But maybe that's a sign of how bad the offense is right now. It seems like we have no weapons.

With the defense being older and less talented this year, we can't have the offense being super conservative and giving up field position every drive. I think this regime buried themselves with the Ebron pick. Everyone knew he couldn't block coming in, but he can't catch and ends up in the same area as another receiver far too often. He's literally good for about a play a game and that doesn't cut it considering some of the other more useful players we could have drafted.

Thanks for sharing this, Jr....really enjoyed reading that.

I know Cam is just a special player but this year, he's really maturing and playing within himself and the talent of the team. Great article outlining how Carolina is playing within the talent they have.

Under Armor has a deal that allows them to outfit players with accessories. Nike is the official apparel guys of the NFL. But unlike Adidas who has no deal with the NFL and therefore its players must have the logo covered (see RGIIIs shoes) Under Armor can have their logo's visible. Similar to the deal Nike had with the NFL in the later years of the Reebok deal. In the early years of the Reebok deal all Nike logos had to be removed from gloves and shoes, but something happened in the last 3 or 4 years of that deal.

One of the risks of being on television is being recognized in public. And another risk is being harassed by fans at a sporting event. That’s exactly what happened to ESPN fantasy expert Matthew Berry at last Thursday night’s Washington-New York Giants game at MetLife Stadium. Berry attended the game with his three stepsons hoping Read more...

Yeah that's pretty classless and Berry even gave them an out to save face by having an on the record conversation about it but like the idiots and classless fools they are they declined.

I'm glad that Berry handled it with dignity because some other guys would've made a huge scene out of it. Gotta feel bad for the 11 year old though.

Pretty tame stuff, considering how well known he is among football fans. I would have heckled him about his unfunny attempts at humor in his fantasy columns.

If you live and die by this guys advice on who to start or sit in FF, you need to take a timeout. He knows about what's gonna happen every Sunday as much as my idiot friends (or me. Or you.) He has connections so he can get the scoop on injuries, but when the games starts, all bets are off.

I've got a decent chunk of change riding on my team this week, but whether I lose or win is up to my decisions and the uncertainty of players performing.

Just another example of people not being allowed to have nice things. This guy is trying to help out your team every week in a game you know is a crapshoot, and you go and talk about him like he's not there. Have some balls and ask if that was really him, say what's up, and watch the game. Or better yet, keep your mouth shut and let the man enjoy the game with his stepchildren.

I thought the email was actually an okay gesture to be like, sorry we were fanboy'ing. I do think Berry is being kind of weird about this, but it's probably new to him a bit as fantasy continues to blow up and he's not really a celebrity or athlete. He handled the actual situation pretty well, ignoring the guys and thinking about the backlash if he were to make this an issue.

Okay that's enough time & thought about this.
