Actual dialogue from the 49ers presser:

Reporter: You dismissed your general manager and coach because they didn't reach certain performance standards.

    York: That's part of it.

Reporter: Okay, let's stick to that part. Why shouldn't you be dismissed or reassigned for the same reasons?

York: Again, nothing I'm going to say is going to be satisfactory.

    Reporter: Say something.

I feel bad for Crabtree. What about if that chain was given to him by a family member who had passed away? Fortunately his mother is in good health, but the point still stands.

Credit to Crabtree for simply being the better man and not stooping to Talib's already record low level. I've never liked Talib. Complete idiot.

I need you to drop what you're doing and go watch Friday immediately. DVD, Blu-Ray, Redbox, OnDemand, XBox/PS, doesn't matter how, just do it. Cause it currently sounds like you've never seen it and that should be a crime that carries a jail sentence lol

RJ my man, that is twice in this thread in the span of two or three days that someone posted a over your head image on you.

Now its a long year so you still have time to turn this around, but not the best start.

As for Buffalo, after reading that.. jeez.
Yeah, I dunno, they don't seem to be having this kind of dysfunction with their hockey team but it's looking like a real dumpster fire with the Bills.

Sounds like the Broncos will not hire their HC from within.

Wade Phillips' contract is up and it doesn't sound like Elway will renew that until the new HC is hired. I get it but it would be a colossal mistake if he ends up elsewhere.

Unless Phillips wants to be a HC, why wouldn't they want to keep him? He's done a great job in Denver.

I think Elway is respecting the right of the HC to make that decision but I agree with you. It would be a mistake for him to be let go.

I also want no part of him as the HC though, they've already made that mistake. I would pay him as much as a HC coach to be the DC though. He's that valuable.

I agree. The importance of coordinators cannot be understated. I am still bummed we lost Kubiak to you guys.

Wonder if Rex Ryan still has "it" as a DC?

What show on NFL Network would people recommend to watch to get the most playoff preview talk for each individual series? I don't ever watch NFL Network so I got no idea which show I should even be checking out at this time of the year.

I know for MLB, they got specific playoff preview shows on their network as well as discussing stuff on MLB Tonight and other shows as well, but have no idea the NFL equivalent to any of that.

Crazier stat to me is still that Dan Marino did it back in 1984. Much respect to Drew Brees, though.
