The Mack trade last year right before the opener was just idiotic.

    This, however, was inevitable.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Damn I’m surprised they released him outright

      NFL - Buffalo Bills
      MLB - Cincinnati Reds

If theres 1 player who deserves to go unsigned its him.

Serious question, did Brown just have the most notable career as part of a franchise he never played a game for? We always have guys swapped to a team and bought out or traded again before playing(usually just for cap reasons) in all sports, but those are always forgotten about.

Oakland also still would own his contract, which would not be guaranteed. So if he wants to comeback the following year, he has to play under the existing contract.

Is he XFL eligible? Lol imagine if all NFL teams said no to signing him and the XFL makes him the 2nd player in league history. Even if he ends up playing no games, he'd bring extra press to the league.

Yeah they could, but that allows him to do whatever he wants. If it was me, I'd keep him suspended as long as possible and not playing than giving him up for free.

Unless they get the draft picks back, they cut him and they got nothing.

You’d move him eventually just because that’s one less distraction you have to deal with for 16-17 weeks.

I’d wager a nice amount of money on that happening than just sitting him all year long.

Well he was cut today so he definitely won't be sitting all year for Oakland at least.

Is this the most sudden mental collapse we have ever seen?

He’s always been diva, but the crazy ratcheted up to extreme levels in this past year.

In all seriousness, he needs professional help.

Just got a notification that Antonio Brown signed with New England for what its worth. I don't see anything on the ESPN app as of yet though.

EDIT - Schefter is reporting it on ESPN, just saw the notification on there.
