Not quite. He got 4-5 years for possession of a firearm, minus 300+ days service for the case. Not that it matters, really.

Won't he just go back to the jail where he was serving his life sentence for the other conviction? I am thankfully ignorant on the administrative side of these things.

Yes he will. I was being a bit facetious. The 4-5 for this conviction won't be served until after he serves the time for his other conviction (which obviously won't happen).

So either way he's still going to be in prison for life? Or does he have a chance at parole on the other conviction?

Feel sorry for the victims families. Bradley has immunity and Hernandez found not guilty. No closure for them.

No chance of parole with life sentence. He is however appealing the initial ruling.

On the surface, seems like nothing. But, if my memory serves me, this case was presented during the trial for the other? So if he does get a new trial, this verdict could play a role?

I just realized that Hernandez's lawyer is the same guy that got Casey Anthony acquitted of killing her daughter. That man has a special place in hell reserved for him.

Please excuse my ignorance on this case, because I haven't ever really followed it, but I heard this from someone, but don't know if it's true because it seems so crazy, but I heard his first conviction was for killing the guy who witnessed him commit the double murder.

If that's true, it's insane he got off on this.

I would imagine if they could prove that as true he wouldn't have been acquitted. I don't know much about the case either, though, so I have no idea if they were related.

Naw he's just really good at his job. I'd want him if I was in legal trouble.

The judge didn't allow the Odin Lloyd conviction to be brought up during this trial. On the surface, it sounds like "well, everyone knew about it anyway." but a good defense attorney (which this guy obviously is) would screen most sports fans out of the selection process and go ask a random aunt about Aaron Hernandez. She may know the name but I bet she's hazy on the details.

He's definitely good at his job. Doesn't make him less of a scum bag though.

How does it make him a scumbag though? He's not the one out there killing people. He's just making a living like the rest of us. Unfortunately in his case it requires defending criminals and potentially letting guilty people off the hook, but someone has to do it lol. People have rights to attorneys to defend them even if they're guilty as charged... and really it's the prosecutors job to build a case to get a conviction. Not his fault if their case isn't good enough.
