This is really good for the Cardinals. Gonna be interesting to see him and K.M. make noise in the playoffs. Sad to see him go but I guess the Eagles have a plan? Cause I'm not impressed with the trade. A 6 round pic and a 5 round pic? No one else could offer more than that for Ertz?

2021 Transaction Thread

Is he worth more? He seems to have been a product of volume. He’s good at what he does, and that’s very useful to a team trying to fill that need, but he’s not anywhere close to the class of Kelce, Kittle, or Waller. Those guys are matchup nightmares, Ertz seems like a standard type who is an expert on short routes and bodying out defenders then falling down. A 5th and a player for a decent TE seems about the going rate. Seems like only QB’s can fetch high picks these days or catching a team overpaying or desperate for an upgrade.

The Cards didn’t want to part with Jordan Hicks? He’s gotta be better than the scrubs they’re running out there every week.

Yeah he is definitely worth more than a 5th and a 6th. But it is what it is, Roseman gonna do what he does. I guess there was some kind of feud between the two, if you believe the stories.

But yeah, Ertz is waaaaaay better than decent lol.
