Yeah I agree. Sorry, I react when people group fans from your average watering hole, or other boards when making a comment on this board. Many fans on this board leave a lot to be desired too but at least there are a great deal that have some sense. On a whole I'd say OS doesn't deserve to be grouped with the others and some of their far fetched ideas.

Marshall interview
FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. — Call Brandon Marshall a talented receiver.
Call the Broncos' star receiver a magnet for drama and controversy.
And now call him contrite.
"Learning from last year and last offseason, I approached things unprofessional," Marshall said today at the Super Bowl XLIV media center. "This offseason I'm just going to go with the flow and just go in whatever direction the Broncos want to go."
After granting only a brief sideline interview during the Pro Bowl last week, Marshall opened up today so he could promote the NFL 2009 Season in Review DVD that comes out June 1. Marshall's record-setting, 21-catch game against the Indianapolis Colts, who are here preparing to play the New Orleans Saints in Super Bowl XLIV, is featured prominently on the DVD.
Marshall was an unhappy Bronco last year when he protested his contract situation by holding out from a mandatory minicamp in June and acting up during a preseason practice in August. He put his issues behind him to make 101 catches through 15 games, but he found more trouble in the season's final week.
When he tweaked his hamstring in a Wednesday practice, and showed up 20 minutes late for treatment on Friday morning, Marshall was deactivated from the final game against Kansas City.
Is Marshall now having second thoughts about wanting leaving the Broncos?
"I don't know if I would call it, second thoughts," Marshall said. "Last year I handled things totally wrong. I just looked at the business side of things and took things too personally. This year I'm going to remove myself from the situation and let the Broncos decide the direction we're going to go in as an organization."Aaron

Re: Official Denver Broncos Thread
The man really doesn't have a bad attitude, and he does kinda want to stay in Denver, and he really has grown up overnight, and he would definitely be worth having on any team because he isn't really a cancer, he was just being unprofessional, but he is all better now.

Marshall was never as bad as made out to be but lets not get in denial. Nobody is better overnight. He's just talking... just like he did earlier in the season before he got into trouble again. Actions speak louder than words.Comment

Re: Official Denver Broncos Thread
Do you know how many brushes with the law he has had just during his time as a pro? It is a wonder the guy ever got the chance to show his potential. The guy has never even shown an inkling at being a high character guy. I guess we shouldn't be so critic of the lad, not everyone can be a Rod Smith.Comment

He's been an idiot off the field, and his preseason stunts were pretty stupid too. But now a days everyone is compared to Pacman Jones, and Marshall was never at that level. I still need to see action before believing his latest good guy speech, but I wouldn't be shocked if he matured... unlike Pacman.Comment

Re: Official Denver Broncos Thread
I think people are getting confused on sarcasm within their posts? Or thats just me with 3 hours of sleep
As I've said before, Marshall talks the talk but hasn't walked the walk. Marshall has repeated the same thing before the season started.. its a business, he's going to do what he's supposed to do, and needs to grow up. I'd prefer it at this point if he just didn't talk, actions speak louder than words.
1 full calendar year of keeping his nose clean = 1st step. If he stays, fine by me as long as he doesn't turn into a cancer/distraction. If he leaves, fine by me. No player is bigger than the team.Aaron

Didn't YOU just say he didn't have a bad attitude and has now changed?

Marshall hasn't matured. He is saying what needs to be said so he can get paid, plain and simple.Comment

Ahh, my bad man. Didn't read the sarcasm. I do think unlike some of the guys like him, it wouldn't take much for him to make a change for the better. Definitely don't believe he's there yet though.Comment

Broncos Bowlen Wants Marshall to Stay
Some interesting quotes:
After a tumultuous end to a promising-turned-disappointing season for the Broncos, owner Pat Bowlen and receiver Brandon Marshall fell onto the same page last week, both saying they'd like the two-time Pro Bowler back with the team next season."I think Brandon is going through a maturing process," Bowlen said, according to The Denver Post. "Personally, I saw change in his personality and approach to things [this season]. He didn't have the same sort of attitude and anxiety that he's had. I personally would like to see him stay. And there's still a good possibility that could happen.""Now, if the head coach sits down and says no, I want to trade him, or I've got a deal that's going to be beneficial to the club, I don't think I'm going to override him," Bowlen said Saturday of Broncos coach Josh McDaniels, according to the newspaper.Comment
