Re: Official New York Jets Thread
I'm sure the Jets will make a play to get Mariota. I'm sure they'll have a record like 1-15. I'm sure that's a lock for the 3rd or 2nd pick. Either way, its obvious that Oakland and Jacksonville doesn't need a new QB.Comment

And if Mariota is viewed as a can't miss QB, all teams at the top will consider him.
My fear is being on the clock with Jameis Winston available.Comment

I really doubt Winston will be entering the draft this year after how much his stock has dropped this year versus where he was last year.Comment

He can't repair his image. Too much of a microscope in college.
Can't tell a kid who may be in line for 2 national championship games to stay in school.Comment

At this point, it looks like the Jets are the favorites to draft Mariota.Comment

Anyway, I'm not sold on FSU QBs. I think they're system guys.
Jameis seems more ready than EJ Mauel ever did IMO but mixing him with NYC would be toxic.Comment

Re: Official New York Jets Thread
Marcus Mariota is looking good tonight. I'm impressed. Responsible for 4 TDs tonight. 37 passing TDs on the season, so far.Last edited by bradtxmale; 11-09-2014, 01:31 AM.Comment
