    As I said many times you need 4ghz or more.

    Part of the forthcoming 0.8 update will be the optimisations that even allowed the engine render some 3d crowd without crashing, but if you can't even run at stable 60fps the default 2k11, it won't be probably enough.

    With the Nvidia cards it is always better to run the game on dx11, you can switch it in the Dolphins option tab. This might be different with AMD tho.

    Also make sure all the hacks on the hacks tab are ON.

    Edit: But good news is that you can probably very easily and safely overclock your CPU above 4ghz.

    I run the game on the i5 3.4ghz CPU overclocked to 4.2 without any issues.

      I found the 60fps code and tried to set it to always run at 30fps, by changing the value from 1 to 2, but it just freezes the fps at 0 until I disable the code or change it back to 1. I guess it is not possible, at least not with this 60fps code...

          This looks awesome for AI vs AI but as I said earlier, if I play this, which is my favourite view and these screen cuts start happening since they effect the controller directions, it will break the gameplay.


          I think NHL96 on PC had a similar camera and it was so broken and unplayable in my opinion.


          I'm pretty sure it will make me rage more than once...


          Please make this an individual code that can be turned on and off as codes were in 0.5.

              In this video, I'm going to be showing you some of the improvements made to the A.I. in the neutral zone.
              Each of the clips starts at the very same frame (position), but with the different defensive A.I. tuning.

                  I know. There is a reason I've kept hyping, playing and spent time modding this and not bought NHL20... I think this fits me better.



                  But actually this sounds a lot like EA and other large gaming companies, removing features from the game that I do like, lol.



                  For me the gameplay has always been the important thing. I like to play the game too, not just watch the CPU. For me it would just be sad if the physics and actual gameplay got improved but the camera presentation would ruin the gameplay FOR ME. As I've said many times, this is MY personal opinion and since it is your mod you do what you want. I can only give you suggestions and wishes what I'd like to see and I hope that you appreciate that there are people interested in your work.


                  Perhaps I am wrong and this camera presentation is the best thing since sliced bread but I already dont like the camera cuts to the roof when I am on a break away and to me it seems like these cuts can be even more annoying. I hope that I am wrong.


                  I hope you won't misunderstand me on this. This is still a detail, but the side view is the camera I like most, that's why I feel so strong about it and just ask if it would be possible to make it optional. If not, well then bad for me. But asking (and whining a little) I can atleast do.

                    This looks very interesting. Can these different behaviours be incorporated based on player attributes? For example I could see a very offensive player go for v1, while others use v2 or v3 more.

                      When you were talking about players sometimes turning around too fast (or something along those lines) some time ago, could you please post a video, where that happening, so I know exactly what you mean?

                        I was thinking, also v3 could be attribute based. For example, if I am the defensive player and know that I am a bad checker and I know that the puck carrier is extremely skilled, I would chose to drop like that. That is actually stuff you saw in the eighties/nineties with Gretzky and Lemieux. They were so skilled their opponents got passive. If you could get that kind of player separation in the game I'd be extremely impressed.

                          Hey I just want to confirm - with the Wii edition of 2k10, you can't set it to watch AI vs AI matches of other teams (non-user controlled) during the season can you? (unlike Xbox360 and I think PS3 versions)

                          Secondly - was wondering with the advancement of rpcs3 emulator, are you looking to move the project eventually to PS3 version?

                            I don't have time to provide a video right now. It is the pickup puck from behind animation, it is very visible close to the boards on 0.7 when players skate, drop puck, pick up, repeat.

                              Haven't time to really test it yet.

                              I keeping my eye on the 360 emulator project tho.
                              Would be cool, but I doubt I could just port the new code (2KHS) to the other platform, I would have to do it all over again... probably.
                              But if it's worthy and stable, I would do it

                              One of the new "placement" of a.i. tendencies for shots in action.
                              Also with the improved goalie x puck detection, more realistic goals like this will go in, that would otherwise end up being glued somewhere in the goalie body/equipment.

                              "Getting rid of the glue"

                              I can't get rid of it completely, it would make the game unplayable.

                              Some games are just better in doing it less visible than the others.

                              Sports games, in general, are making this magnet effect way to strong because the producers of these games things that any possible realistic error (when receiving the pass for example) would frustrate their player base.

                              Since this is a hockey simulator and I don't have to worry about any of these things, I can make it as realistic as possible, within the limitations of doing it from outside.
