Its the level of difficulty that you can set before playing. There are 2 levels, standard and tour.

Anyone figured out how the heck to change who you golf with online. Me and couple of friends played and we were all 3 Tiger Woods.

I'm afraid I haven't made myself clear. You can chat during the game, you just can't click on a friend's name in the messenger list and invite them to voice chat like in NCAA, Madden, and some of the other EA sports games. There's no voice chat option in the friends list menu.

They're Real Time Events... so, for example, on Christmas Day, they'll have a special challenge (maybe Eagle all the Par 5's on a certain course or something) and if you win, you win something different, like a Christmas sweater. Or, on Tiger's Birthday, you can play a match against Tiger and win a set of clubs or something like that.

Some of them are pretty tough... they may make you use a 7-iron and driver only, or feature really tough holes, etc... nice way to spice up the game after you've had it for a loooooong time.

Can you change spin direction post shot? I read a post in another forum stating that you can only adjust the spin speed post shot, not the direction. That would be a step in the right direction.


Oh, and Best Buy has this for 39.99 tomorrow, I think I will grab it. I figure if it sucks I can trade it in for $25 in a month. No big loss.

How is the difficulty of the game if you put it on tour mode and turn off the spin after the ball and power shots and stuff like that.

The online tournaments are back again this year, which I love. Always good to see how you stack up against the cheesers. They are fun though.

For the past few Tiger Woods games I have found getting hole in ones far to frequent as well as sinking shots from the fairway happening a little to much, is this the case with Tiger 06? Hole in ones are supposed to be special but if your sinking them every so often it makes it to unrealistic and riuns the experience. Does the ball still have that magnetic feel when going towards the hole especially in gamebreaker mode?

Since we don't have a bug sticky, I'll post a couple of small online bugs here. If these are not bugs and someone knows how to fix em, please let me know

1. The Approve feature doesn't work. I was waiting for a couple of friends and had match set to "approve" and two idiots joined and the game started.
2. The Password feature for games and rooms doesn't work or at least I can't get it to work as of yet.

The only way I've seen that work is if you go into the lobby and enter a room. I can't get it to work just clicking on a friend's name in the live menu.

Clarification: Tiger is only $39 for the Gamecube, it's $49 for Xbox and PS2. Shady.
