Is it an improvement or am I imagining a better look to the bunker lips on some courses. Seeing more shadow casting from the bunkers edge that looks more consistent with a real course.

I say better... there's easily more nuance and less of a cookie cutter look in most places. There are also some splotches of grass that look like a product of poor rendering. Definitely an overall better look though!

Woke up to find it preloaded on my ps5 overnight. Is it Tuesday yet?

I've got it preordered on my Series X, and today it's asking for permission to load another update of 10.6 GB. That's the second update it's had in less than a week. Did you happen to see what the size was of your download? I don't know if you can see that after the fact on a PS5 or not?

Respawn called it a potential bloodbath in the comments of his post. Not good. Something in my gut says it’s for the course designer. Probably why we haven’t heard anything about it. Kind of shady.

I can't justify paying 60 dollars for a PC game when there are so many lesser-priced quality games these days. With no apparent discount, trial, or anything. If I watch some streams and it looks like enough of an upgrade, I may change my mind.

He says he's under NDA until tomorrow so he can say no more...gulp. This is getting weird in a hurry. The Discord channels I follow are blowing up like crazy, and it sounds the issues may be related to mutiplayer and societies...it also sounds like the course creator is crashing all the time in the retail version, when it wasn't in the demo version.

This is easily the most excitement that I've had for any Golf Club/PGA Tour game. I thought 2K22 was great, but the new additions sound very interesting. Soon...

Didn’t 2k say a while back there was some mechanic that affects the course designer? But they never elaborated on it. Also interesting only a few have mentioned it.

So as a designer who always makes his greens pretty fast, if you don't have the greatest golf balls its going to make fast greens impossible? Is that what the issue is?

multiplayer seems the same except it's called casual and, yeah, i cant find stats/rankings anywhere (not that rankings werent a joke last version anyway, but i enjoyed having my stats to look at and compare/brag to friends)


on the consumable golf balls (yes, i hate it).. but you said it changes green speeds. so what if i'm playing a 1v1 online match and i have looow speed balls but my opponent has high speed balls with way low bounce... are you saying we're hitting into different green speeds that magically changes between my shot and his? if so, that's awfully bad. it makes BAD BAD consumable golf balls infinitely worse.
