Haven't had any time to get alone and put in a single race so far, managed to squeeze in 14 laps during an online practice (1:41.6) and got a better feel for passing cars.

Re: iRacing
Well I ran a race today. Finished 5th but could of finished in the top 3. I got dumb and spun out while I was leading early and then a car spun in front of me, and I decided to slow down incase he slid across the track and he ended up hitting me. I didn't slow down enough and rammed right into him. Dumb move on my part. I'm getting better in the Skippy though. I can't run your setup Mike. I'll spin. So I decided to accept being slow and not spinning out as much.Comment

Does the car feel too tight for you or what?Aaron

Re: iRacing
Up the front tire pressures and give it a shot. I can't remember what they were set at, but try 28 or so. I might also try lowering the spring perch. I think it's at 6, so try it at 4 or 3.Comment

Re: iRacing
I'm running the front TP at 26, the back TP at 23, and the ARB at 8, and that works like a charm for me. I'm not too fast, but I can throw the car around and keep hold of it. Dang curb and low frame rate caused me to spin last race.Comment

Re: iRacing
I don't know if you guys have tried any laps at Summit Point, but here's a replay.

Re: iRacing
I think I'm taking a break from road racing until I get a better computer. So it's legends and late models for me now.Comment

I want this game so damn bad...I wish I could afford it.
EDIT: Also, can you get away with using a cheap wheel/pedals for this?Last edited by BunnyHardaway; 07-09-2009, 07:07 AM.Comment

Another concern I had was performance. I have a Dell Vostro 1500 laptop that I got in June of last year, and I know nothing about specifications, so would this run fine with it?

Re: iRacing
Nice...I saw some good deals for the force feedback wheels so I may check into those.
