The rumor is they take Wii Sports out when the price drops. I am guessing the only upgrade would be a built-in DVD player.

I'd be surprised to see a price drop so soon since it sends mixed messages. People either love it and go out and buy it or they think something is wrong. Removing Wii Sports from the package seems silly as well since they likely won't make a ton of money off of selling seperately and having a pack-in game is a huge advantage right now. Maybe they'll replace it with Wii Play? The re-launch with multiple colors seems like a given though, as it is with all Nintendo consoles these days. As for technical upgrades, it's possible, though I'm not sure what they could add while keeping costs low. Perhaps HD support? Wireless sensor bar? DVD player?

Elebits is getting a lot of priase right now. Madden on the Wii is the best version of Madden released this year. And if you want a fighter or are a fan of the show/mange, Dragon Ball Z is a fun time.

I've decided to get Elebits after Christmas, people seem happy with it.

I enjoy Tony Hawk Downhill Jam but I haven't seen many people praise it. It's just a straight downhill racing game without many features, but I do like how you to tilt the wiimote to steer and balance your board.

After Zelda what would someone whos played a few Wii games recommend?

I'm not sure what everybody else is doing, but after I beat Zelda (which is within 2-4 hours) I'm not sure if I'll pick up another Wii game or just pick up a couple Gamecube titles.

The only Wii games i'm anticipating in 2007 would be the new Wario game which i've read is insane. Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime and hopefully Animal Crossing. Also another Pikmin or F-Zero wouldn't hurt either.

Honestly though I don't see them adding anymore features to the Wii, it would send a bad message and alienate a lot of their fan base.

I really like the boss in the second to last temple; he really brings the entire game together IMO.

Grabbed Red Steel and Rayman.

Red Steel is better than the reviews suggest. The controls are cool and the game is fun. Nothing wow or special about it, but certainly a new way to play fps on consoles. The controls make the game much better than it actually is, or would be with a regular joypad.

Rayman is awesome. Great mini games and fun for get togethers, parties etc.
