Wow, I followed the instructions on page 2 of the Wii Operations Manual. I clicked on the Wii Button at the lower left corner of the screen. The next screen I come to has two choices a) Data Management b) Wii Settings.

When I click on the Data Management box it brings me up to another screen with 2 choices. a) Wii b) Nintendo Gamecube. If I click on the Wii button I only see my 2 game saves, Zelda and Wii Sports for a total of three blocks.

If I click on the Game Cube box it says "Nothing is inserted in Slot a and Slot B."

I turned off the Wii and removed and reinserted the SD card and still no luck. Any ideas?

No, sorry, I've put my card in once or twice, and it's read it both times.

Dam I was afraid of that. The SD card only goes in one way right? I inserted the card as far as it could go and I heard it click and lock into place. If you push in again the card releases from the Wii.

Does that sound right?

Yeah, it only goes in one way.

When you get to the screen that shows your game saves look at the top and there should be a tab that says SD. IF NOT then you haven't updated your system. Out of the box the Wii does not support the SD for some reason. The system update fixes that problem.

Well, a few hours in, I've discovered that my wife is freakishly good at everything on this system. Me? I'm having trouble.

First game of bowling, the wife bowls a 207, I get a 143.

We played a few innings worth of baseball. She's the freakin' Nolan Ryan of Wii Baseball, striking me out almost everytime.

Rayman - her first try and she flung the damn Cow 90 some odd feet. I couldn't get it to go more than 40.

Needless to say, she thinks her **** doesn't stink right now. And she's talking all kinds of smack.

Is there a game I might be able to beat her at, folks? Help is desperately needed.
