    Re: Official Wii Discussion

My favorite game so far is still the Tony Hawk game. The Zelda one is the best of that franchise IMO as well! Lately I've been playing Need for Speed and it is a lot of fun too. The only game I've gotten so far that I didn't like was Elebits, I sold it and fot NFS. I played the Rayman game at a friends house and I thought it was a lot of fun as well, one day I might pick it up if I get it cheap. I'm just not huge on the party games because I play mainly by myself.

Did you buy Metal Slug? The controller was on it's side when I played it and this is the best way to play the game since the other configurations stink.

I rented it, never a fan of the series. But it controls fine.

I'm sure I'll get the Super Smash Bros Brawl because the previous two are fun, but I'm not that big into fighting games. I've actually never played a Metroid game if that is even possible, so I might give this one a go too.

                  Re: Official Wii Discussion

Almost got the Wii last night. Walmart.com had the bundle package for sale. The problem was, you had to pick 7 different games to come with the system. Everytime I would pick 7 different games, it would tell me that the bundle will not work (presumably because certain games were selling out before the page would update). I went back and forth with this for a few hours (I was at work) until, of course, the system itself sold out.

                  Dammit.
Overall satisfaction also makes the decline!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot wait! I wonder if the hammer moves will be interactive with the wiimote?

I've never played a Paper Mario game. Can you give me a quick synopsis of the series?

                          It's a Mario RPG basically.

Like EG said, it's a Mario RPG. In the gamecube version you start off controlling Mario and you walk around a town. There might be some enemies running around, like goombas and koopas, that you touch to start a battle with. In the battle you alternate turns hitting each other. Mario has jump and hammer moves that you power up throughout the game. Along the way, Mario builds up an entourage that goes with him through the game and fights in your party. So yeah, it's a RPG with a Mario twist. I never played the original N64 Paper Mario, just the Gamecube and two GBA games and they are all great.

Well, i finally got one last night at EB games. I walked in not expecting them to have one, then I asked and they had 1, so i picked it up. I picked up Zelda with it, and getting rayman from ebay. I got it for me and my wife to play, and later my son (hes almost 3 is all). So far, I love the idea of it, and very fun to pick up and play when I dont want to spend too much time gaming. My wife loves it, she is hooked on bowling. What else should I pick up? Is madden worth it? Looks fun with the new controls. Aslo, do I need the classic controller in order to play game cube games or classic games? Thanks

Cube controller is the only way to play Cube games. It will also control most, not all, of the classic games. The Classic controller is only for the classic games, will not work for Cube games, but will work on the upcoming Mortal Kombat game.

WarioWare is a must own, Madden is one of my favs, and Tony Hawk is great fun. Elebits is fun too, just the fun is too short.
