Re: Playstation Network and discussion
Four hours and 74% is great speed for the PS3. I'll never forget the 11 1/2 hours it took me to get Gran Turismo HD.Comment

Re: Playstation Network and discussion
lol, are you guys serious? We're talking about demos right? I downloaded sigma yesterday (made a japanese account) in maybe two hours. It wasn't long at all. And when I dled Gran Turismo HD it wasn't even two hours. I haven't had one download prob since I bought my PS3. Matter of fact, my PS3 has been problem/bug free since purchase unlike the other next gen console out there. (My friend's 360 bit the dust two days ago while we were playing COD3. He's only had it three weeks. What a piece of ****).Comment

I still have a launch 360 that's still going strong. I believe my method of using the Nyko Intercooler and raising the unit for increased air flow has helped in my case. My launch PS3 has been flawless as well. Sometimes the quirky occasional lockup while playiing a demo or the controller losing sync. It rarely happens but all in all I guess i'm lucky.
Last night I was playing Super Paper Mario on the Wii and the WiiMote lost sync to the machine. I went to the Nintendo website to troubleshoot it. I found out that wireless signals (even from a wireless router) can sometimes interfere with wireless controllers can cause them to stop communicating with the Host System.Comment

Nope, just like to troll in this thread.
Whenever I find a game that I want to play and I HAVE to update my system, I'll accept. I've just been watching blu-rays and haven't had a reason to update yet.PS4: aBayBates

I've updated to 1.70.... everything (games/blu ray/downloads) works perfect. So you're waiting for a game you like to update huh?.... ok.
To each his own.

Re: Playstation Network and discussion
If there's nothing to play, why go through the hour long process to update?
I get that a few of you have blazing speeds with the PS3 online service, but 99% of us, have slower than molasses speeds.Comment

No I'm waiting for a game that i want to play and to take online and to go online, I have to update. I haven't played an actual ps3 game in months, I've played more ps2 games than ps3. Hopefully the Show will change that.PS4: aBayBates
