From the beginning of gaming time, few have given so much for so many and received so little.. kudos are not enough to even begin to thank you guys for your tireless efforts year in and year out, game in and game out..

without your commitment to excellence in the field of sports game roster naming and management, my years of sports game enjoyment would not have existed..

without you and your work.. ALL of us both online and offline gamers would be saying "QB # 5 for this team this.. or RB #44 for that team that..

Ok so I am in the same boat as all of yall, all my roster files are corrupt. I DID NOT rename them or anything. Does that mean that my console was "flagged"?

Nope, it means that the roster files you downloaded have become corrupt. Download new versions of them and you should be just fine.

Kudos to the guys who put the rosters together. I tracked down rosters for the 32 teams in Coach K back in the day (you couldn't actually put them in the game, but it was nice having a printout to associate a name with a No.). I tried one year to do them all myself in NCAA. I got through the SEC and gave up. It's incredibly monotous. And it gets worse when you get to those one or two players per team whom don't appear to match up with anyone on a real roster. I used FK's the last two years and have been quite happy with them.

Sad that some people think it's no big deal and the roster makers should just buy a new console so that the rest of us can use their rosters.

I got a question for DK and FDK. I have been using yalls rosters for over 3 years, I just want to say thanks. But what are yalls plans as of right now? Are yall going to by a new 360 or just hope that microsoft fixes this problem?

I already have a new console. The console that I edited rosters for NCAA '07 & College Hoops 2K7 went dead on XMas Eve night. That was the console that was tagged and placed on the Revocation List.

Because I have a new console already there should be no problems as long as I can keep my rosters off of 360Gamesaves.com this summer. Also, I do not expect Micro$oft to resolve this problem for rosters editors. From all reports that I've heard "roster editors" are just casualities of Microsoft's efforts to combat cheaters. Once on the Revocation List it is permanent. Now, I'm hoping the M$ will soften their stance and I have my fingers crossed while some of my contacts work on resolving the issue... but I have little faith that it will actually be fixed.

Strange that when M$ actually does try to help something (like cheaters), it backfires on the roster creators and it is something that people pay money for (the exchange devices and memory card). Yet M$ just sees it as a minor casualty.

Props to all you guys though for creating all of these and im sure there will be many fixes from you guys in the long run

I know I'm late to the discussion and I tried to follow it thru this thread but just to summarize:

The old roster files are corrupt and won't work because of the Spring Patch?

The way to workaround this is too download FK's new rosters, re-name them, then follow standard procedures used in the past for the rosters?

Will this affect '08 rosters?

I apologize again for any redunandcy but I always get the NCAA fever around this time and when I dusted off my copy I was shocked to see that it didn't work.

Has anyone found a solution to DK's MLB rosters? I tried a new download from him, renamed it before transferring it to my memory card, and it still shows up as corrupted. I can't access the file in-game to rename, nor does renaming the memory unit work.

Any help?
