If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :) -

well the email hasn't been sent yet, but you can still check. Go to http://connect.microsoft.com and log in. Click "Xbox LIVE Update Preview"
If you were accepted it should say something like "Congratulations! You’ve been accepted to the 2009 Xbox LIVE Update Preview."Comment

Like somebody said earlier, just go to the connect site. I didn't receive an email, but I went to the site and saw that I had been accepted, turned on my XBOX and it updated. The way Major Nelson makes it sound, seems like everybody that applied will eventually get in, they're just doing it in waves.Comment

Yeah, it doesn't say I've been accepted there. Still just has the instructions on how to apply, and not to apply more than once, etc.Like somebody said earlier, just go to the connect site. If the Monkey Island and Halo stuff is any indication I think you can wait. (I don't know if we're allowed to talk about this stuff or not)
I'm Canadian so don't get Netflix and silver so can't use parties. After booting it up I'm not sure why they let me try it.
Guess they expected me to buy avatar clothes.
I like the rating thing and new achivement stuff though.

Re: Xbox Live Marketplace and Live Arcade discussion Part III
what's the new number above the rep stars mean? How long you've been on Live?
The avatar marketplace has potential, but I gotta lol at the halo RC car. Costs almost as much as a arcade game.
The new achievement display will make me spend money on some of the games I should have completed fully, but DLC took credit away. Seeing that I should have 110k points is motivation enough, but I got 1290 in Fallout 3, so I might as well get the rest so it can be included with the 19 other games I've completed.Comment

Yep...works very well on Netflix. Haven't tried the regular Video Marketplace Downloads yet though.
Yep. And because I restarted my "TJdaSportsGuy" account a year ago, I only have a 1 even though I've been on Live for 6 years. The geekiness in me is exploding in anger.
