Good deal, buy all the XBLA titles for The Summer of Arcade, and get 800 points back (or Splosion Man for free).

    July 22: Splosion Man™ | 800 Microsoft Points
July 29: Marvel vs. Capcom 2 | 1200 Microsoft Points
August 5: TMNT: Turtles in Time Re-shelled | 1200 Microsoft Points
August 12: Trials HD | 1200 Microsoft Points
August 19: Shadow Complex | 1200 Microsoft Points

I was going to buy TMNT, Trials and Shadow anyway. Already got MvC2, so might as well get Splosion Man now.

      TMNT is $15! Wow.

      I'll still buy it though.

Damn 60-70 bux for 5 arcade games that kinda steep. Come Ms u can give a better deal then that.
Kenny: Ok Vic, I'm ready for some girl on girl action.
Vic: No Kenny, that's girl versus girl.
        Kenny: What's the difference?
Vic: Well, in one, one girl wins. In the other....
        Kenny: Everyone wins?!?!

        Captain Tenneal: Get it on!

Nice deal to shove a few people to get them all, but it's kind of like admitting that they should have just priced Trials and Turtles correctly at 800 points each instead. Trials was like $2 on steam a bit back.

OMG...MS finally allowed us to change the auto renewal setup. You can even remove credit cards now. Never being forced to call MS's India call center again should be a bullet point to this update.

Each year that your Xbox LIVE membership needs to be renewed and you have a credit card on file with us, we automatically renew the account. We’ve heard from some members that, for a variety of reasons, they’d like the option to turn this off. I am going to show you how to do this in a few easy steps.

            * Sign in to Xbox.com and go to the My Account section.
            * Click the Membership level link on the left.
            * You’ll see a page that has your Membership level, and the end date. Under that, you’ll see your “Automatic Renewal” status.

Good to know. The auto renewal has screwed me the last few years when I would buy a card off amazon for cheap and then the auto renewal kicks in. Luckily I have called both times and they rolled it back and gave me my 50 back.

It's been on there for about 2 weeks now, because I went and removed it all off of my account. The problems I had with them last summer when my XBL ran out and they suspended my account and gamertag...........I was so pissed. So I kept on calling them and after the third phone call, they took my account off suspension. Very annoying.

I kind of don't like this though. They require earning all achievements, even those added through DLC for the completion. I got credit for 19 games completed, but DLC keeps games like Oblivion or Fallout 3 off the list. Is this how the platinum trophies on the ps3 work?

No, DLC trophies do not count toward the Platinum. They just count as additional trophies.

I don't think I got into the preview, as I still haven't received an email saying I have.

Why does it matter, no one else can see the icons anyway. They aren't trophies, they are just a quick list of games you have every achievement for.

                              TMNT: Turtles in Time Re-Priced

The second Xbox Live Summer of Arcade continues next week with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled. It's one of the most anticipated games in the lineup, but some of us have raised an eyebrow over the $15 price tag. The original TMNT arcade game is available on Xbox Live Arcade for $5.

Well, looks like Microsoft and Turtles in Time's publisher Ubisoft have had a change of heart at the last minute and just told IGN they're dropping the price to $10. This is great news for people who only make $10 an hour: they just got out of a half hour of work!

Yesterday, Microsoft announced an incentive to purchase all five Summer of Arcade games ('Splosion Man, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, TMNT: Turtles in Time, Trials HD, and Shadow Complex). Download the whole batch by August 31 and you'll receive a $10 rebate applied to your Xbox Live account.
