It just wasn't a funny joke. Sony should just not do any minor hardware revisions because the changes aren't appreciable by you? It's not like Sony spent 15 minutes expunging about it at E3, all they did was update the Japanese website with the soon to be current model.Comment

Relax, homie. Obviously it's beneficial to Sony, but to the consumer who already owns a PS3 (this is what he was referring to) it is not something to get excited about.Comment

Sony should always be trying to improve hardware to reduce cost, improve reliability, etc. It's just not something that most users are going to get excited about.Ryan Spencer

Do electronics/gaming stores still sell the older large PS3s? I'm finally taking the plunge and getting a PS3 but wasn't sure which type to get.Comment

The thing about the Fatty I liked was the 4 usb ports. I know you can get an adapter for the slim (I have one) but I liked it all on one PS3 with no extra gadgets needed.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part III...
I also missed the SD and compact flash ports on the old 60 gb fatty... The XMB had some great HD camcorder file compatibility... But at this point I think reliability trumps whatever optional features that the ps3 used to have.Comment
