I have a 120GB Xbox 360 elite...and I was wondering, is the new Xbox 360 worth getting? The quietness and the built in wifi are what intrigues me...and the 250GB harddrive too I guess. Is that the only difference, besides the way it looks ofcourse?

Same here......I bought the 250, and can't say that I am unhappy in anyway. I actually am extremely impressed with not only the system itself, but the different style headset, and the feel of the controller. I can't confirm the controller is different, but it sure feels better!

I would suggest it if you really want the Wi-Fi and Extra storage. The two Consoles are basically the same,might As well wait until your current Xbox craps out.

Yeah buying that wireless adapter and the 250GB HDD is alittle pricey. I may just stop installing games to my HDD to save space, and maybe get a wireless adapter....ugh. I hate microsoft.

It isn't, he probably meant how a new controller feels and everything tight and all that. I was like that way back when I bought my new black slim.

I also have the slim 250 gb. Got it when it came out and the controller is not different in terms of function but it does have a more chrome home button and is also all black all around.

If you want a different 360 controller get the new silver one with the twist directional pad that pops up and down. It has better concave sticks and the build is firmer and feels great in the hand. Also the buttons are not colored anymore. It cost 51 in Amazon. Great controller and it comes with the play and charge cord.

I am thinking of buying another one. It is that good and better then the one that comes with the slim

I am excited to get this new 360 because I havent played in about 3 months due to RROD, I am not sure what to do with my old hard drive/xport/memory card/controllers/headsets and everything else I bought for it

Picking up an xbox to go with the ps3 and wii. I'm mainly using it to play madden and 2k with family and friends online. I should be good with the arcade right?

The 4gb won't play any of the halftime or postgame highlight packages for 2K. You have to have the 250gb model for that. I'd suggest saving up for a couple more weeks and getting the better system.

Was able to get the new 250gb 360 holiday bundle at Sams club. They had their own exclusive as it also had Red Dead Redemption packaged in with Alan Wake and Forza 3 for $349.

This is a Christmas present for someone, wish it was mine, lol.

The 4gb won't play any of the halftime or postgame highlight packages for 2K. You have to have the 250gb model for that. I'd suggest saving up for a couple more weeks and getting the better system.

the 250 model isn't really a better system. The arcade actually has on board flash memory for whatever, and I like the matte look better than glossy. Regardless, you can stick any 360 HDD in it once you remove it from the old enclosure, and you can get a hacked 250 GB HDD online for like $50.

I got the same functionality as the 250 GB model, but for a little cheaper.

If you are buying a 360 for the first time it is not smart to get the 4gb over the 250gb

Is just 100 difference and you get the 250gb. Buying an 250gb hd would cost more then 50

If you're buying both brand new and want to get the best experience straight out of the box, then yes, the 250gb IS the better system. Now, if you want to go all back street ghetto with it like you did, then sure, lol.

Will be the happy owner of a new 360 for christmas time, went in with my mom to get it along with Kinect. Just have to trade my old barely working 360 in and hopefully can get something for it.

EDIT: Scratch that, after ordering saying they had it (and gamestops site still says they have it) it now says backordered. Does anyone know when gamestop will get them in or if there's somewhere else that has it?

EDIT 2: Well it's been shipped, so nevermind. :P

I actually just left the store, and the controller IS in fact different. The analog sticks and dpad are black, as opposed to being gray on the older controllers. And I think the dpad is alittle closer to the right anaglog stick
