I may pick up mod nation racers next week for my son's vita.
I have the 8gb card and Hot Shots sitting here with no darn system to use them on, hopefully the next 2 weeks fly. LOL!

I'll be getting Lumines for sure at launch, Army Corps of Hell looks very good too but will be looking at reviews before jumping on that one. The Pikmin/Overlord style of gameplay was fun and this looks fantastic.

GameStops new 3G bundle has the 8GB memory card as well. They changed it up to try to get more people to get the 3G version.

Best Buy's includes that card now too... so if we get the 3G model, do we HAVE to use the 3G? Some 3G devices require you to set up a monthly contract to activate the system.

Damn you Dickdalewood now I'm confused again. If a service is required for the 3G no doubt I just go with the wifi version

Yep. You pay a monthly service to use it over 3G. You don't have to sign a contract though, you can just go month to month.

I just can't see myself paying for a feature that I won't use much. No doubt I know what I will be getting now.

                            Thanks for the info DookieMowf

I think what he means is, if your purchase a 3G bundle, is it required to have a month to month, etc.

I don't think you need to. Obviously if you want to use 3G, you do, but you can very well buy the 3G model and not use it.

At least I think that's what he means.

Ah, okay. Yeah, CJone is correct. You don't have to get a plan with the 3G version. It's just there if you want.

You could have the Vita and 3 months later decide you want to pay for a month of 3G service and then never use 3G again. It's up to you, but a plan isn't required.
