Same here. Just doesn't seem appealing to me. I have "too many game syndrome" right now anyway, but yeah I feel ya.
So I checked out NEAR today on my Vita and it was blown up! When I first got my Vita and I checked out NEAR 1 person within my area had a Vita.
As of after Christmas there's close to 25. I was checkin out their profiles and almost all of them are recent owners. (you can tell by their history)
I really need to dive into it more because there's alot of cool things you can check out in NEAR... But I wanted to get into a game so...
Another question..how much online storage does Sony give you and can you upgrade it for more space?

I know this question has been asked a thousand times already but I'd like an updated opinion.
for someone who has never played a JRPG, is persona 4 a game to get? I've always been into rpgs just wanted to see what you guys have to say (again... lol).
I'm just worried its going to be difficult to follow and ill end up just getting bored and stop playing it.

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
It was a Reward Zone Gamers Club Unlocked thing that I got, but it was kind of iffy and I caught a break with it really. It was supposed to be on any new games priced up to $39.99. Since the certificate itself didn't actually say that (at least on my printed one), even though the scanner didn't put it through, the manager still okayed it.
But again, the other two games I bought were PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale (w/ free Vita game) and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (for my friend's birthday). Since they were both $60, the free game was the $50 Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified for Vita.
If it was either of the other two, I could've taken COD:BOD (lol) and lowered it to $30, essentially giving me two brand new console games and two brand new Vita games for a grand total of $100.
Anyway, if it helps, I still have a B2G1F on pre-owned games that expires in three days (on the 31st) that I won't be using. If you want it, let me know. Only thing is it looks like you'll have to use my RZ account number for it.Last edited by Blzer; 12-28-2012, 05:21 PM.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

The game lasts an entire calendar year (with some time skips here and there), and during those days you choose what to do with your time. The most important thing you'll be doing is going into an alternate world and fighting through dungeons of monsters to rescue people (and you must do this by certain days or else it's game over and you have an option to rewind by a week and try again). Everything else is entirely up to you - there are people you can meet and talk to, and there are various ways to increase your five personality stats (which open up more social possibilities later on). The whole point of all this is to form social links which allow you to gain advantage in battle (I'm talking fusing personas here, but I really don't want to hash all that out again). Time passes in the game whenever you do something like this, and of course your time is limited.
For battling, I do want to point out that it's not nearly as intimidating as I first thought it would be, due to the different difficulty levels. It turns out that you really cannot lose on Very Easy. Apparently if you do die (and that's quite difficult considering you gain levels and stats incredibly fast), you have the option to come back to life. It's not even a battle restart - you just revive on the spot. And people have said that they're able to beat one of the game's super-bosses at incredibly low levels because of that. Long story short - if you only want to experience the story, there's Very Easy mode. You also level up faster in Easy, but you CAN actually die. Therefore I'd say that Easy would be best for a newcomer to JRPG's who actually wants to experience the full game.
I will say that there are some lulls in the story (particularly if you go out and rescue somebody on the first day it's possible, and then have to wait for them to recover), but the social links and other events can help keep things fresh for the most part, at least on the first playthrough. Each link character has their own side story that plays out over your many meetings with them.Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Ouch...
While I love my Vita (and the writer admits he does too), the article hits on a lot of good points about pricing and support.
Hopefully Sony can figure their **** out this year.Comment
