And I'm most certainly not regretting my Vita purchase. Still play The Show, ZEN Pinball, HSG, etc... now playing Ratchet & Clank as well. Haven't yet played my free games like Uncharted or WipEout.

And oh yeah, I don't have a Smartphone... so this does what I need it to do on the go.
Has it been confirmed that if you have a game that wasn't released for Vita on PS4 such as NHL you can remote play it on Vita?

If that is the case it's going to be hard to hold off on a PS4 just so I can play Madden 25 on Vita, while the wife watches TV.

Sony is mandating that all PS4 titles be Remote Play capable.

The only exceptions will be games which require use of the PlayStation Eye, which in effect includes all games that require the Move. Makes sense.
      Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60

So for sports games that include but don't require Playstation Eye, should be able to be played remotely on Vita.

How does that work for graphics? I assume a huge drop off from PS4 to PS Vita? Sorry to keep asking I'm sure Sony hasn't discussed all of this yet.

Im not sure what Sony stated about PS4 and remote play graphics but I played God of War I (HD remastered) on my vita via remote play and it looked great and just as good as it did on my tv. So if that was any indication, I think graphically, remote play will be great.

That would be awesome and to have no loss in features. Hopefully it pans out.

Vita remote play the game is still fully running on the PS4, you are just streaming video to the Vita.

No...2k14 won't require the Eye (and whatever form of Move the PS4 will have), it'll only support it. Therefore if should be remote play compatible.

When they're talking about Eye-required games, that's stuff like Sports Champions.

They've done a pretty good job of holding that stuff pretty close to the vest. I would hope they would at least do a Vita price drop though.

                          Hope so.
Hopefully it's used in cool ways with the PS4 and not just a cross play deal.
I'd love to see a use like using in a game like Fatal Frame etc..

I'm openly questioning the ability to remote play until I see it in action.

On a 3G connection (which is what they will have to baseline the Vita features to) you're telling me they are going to have 720p video streaming AND no input lag?

There is no chance. Even on a WiFi connection the input lag would be unplayable.

GoW streamed very well without any lag.

They will most likely baseline everything to Wi-Fi as the 3G model was discontinued. And all the 3Gs had Wi-Fi too.

The new cross-controller remote play (LBP, ICO/SotC, GoW) actually does work flawlessly (on LAN at least). I was skeptical too, because of how the old remote play performed.
