    Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion

Still getting plenty of use out of my Vita here, and in the future. I see several titles coming that I am interested in, though most are admittedly niche. And I still have IGC backlog as well - most notably Disgaea 3. I'm also a little surprised there's not much interest in Killzone Mercenary - that's looking fantastic so far.

I think more than anything, I'm anxious to see what direction SCEA SD takes the Show next year on the handheld. We know they're crunched already and are having to make sacrifices from the PS3 to get it onto the Vita, so do they just continue modeling after the PS3 after PS4 comes out?

As for the EA games, I think it's probably pretty simple. Along with knowing they aren't going to get many sales on the Vita, I'm not sure things like Ignite and the Infinity Engine will even port over to Vita. I mean, look what we got with M13 on Vita - M12's engine (though it was a fine port of that engine and game, some would say better than the PS3 '13)

It's not out of the question that you might still be playing P4G when the PS4 comes out, if you intend to do everything in the game.

all I play on the Vita is MLB 13 The Show it's great to play baseball on a portable, if we didn't have that game on it I dont think I'd own a Vita.

Om remote play from the other thread:

You can play remotely without a data plan, but you're limited to places you can use someone elses wifi. To be truly portable using the ps3 or ps4 remotely you would need a data plan.

          What?!

I thought it was the other way around, i.e. it wasn't possible through 3G period.

Not sure. I figure with the ps4 it would be an opton. If not, and if games like Madden are only available via ps4 then the Vita is gimped.

                  Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion

                  So, I'm a bit of a dumb ***.

I wasn't trying to be cheap by not buying a game holder case, I just wanted to be convenient for my own sake so I always had them on me. They reside in a pouch in my wallet.

All of them are still there and everything, but I've tried two of them and they no longer work. One of them is MLB 12: The Show (no loss there since I have '13), and the other is LittleBigPlanet. I haven't even bothered trying other ones, because I'm too scared that none of them now work because they are getting crushed every day.

Are there other viable methods that involve not having one of those cases? I thought this would be perfect for me, until I realized they are all breaking. I would have been fine buying them digitally if I had the storage space, but 32 GB isn't enough for the 20+ titles I have.

Don't know how to emphasize that that won't work, other than to simply say that it won't.

I don't know if it's me sitting on it, though. I mean the things themselves look physically fine, but something might have been messed up with the reader or whatever.

                        Passing too much gas, perhaps?

I really have no idea. I'd suggest getting a carrying case for the games, though. I use it all the time with my travels for work.

You can buy them digitally and store the games you aren't currently playing on your computer. When you do want to play, just download them back from the Content Manager.

I have two Vita's, ten games which I carry in a bag I take just about everywhere I go. My games are in the original cases. I also carry my iPad, Headphones, and it all fits perfectly.
