Nope, but would split Nintendo's wallet. They love their profit over ergonomics for the user base.

Any 3DS XL owners find screen protectors/hardshell cases yet? I am afraid to play it yet, haha.

        Re: Nintendo 3DS

So my son just bought the XL with his allowance and birthday money, as well as three games (Mario x3) thanks to a BOGO at Target. We also got "Steel Diver" for free after we bought the system at Gamestop. While I'm still marveling at his ability to set his sights on something and save away, I'm also curious as to what apps or Wii/DSWare stuff we should download. I picked up a $20 prepaid card for the store so that's our balance at this point.

I am going to pick up Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask game also, as I have all of them.

Nintendo is making it harder for me to decide between a 3DS XL or Vita.

If the 3DS was region free, it would be no contest. There's a number of JRPGs and niche Japanese titles that are coming, and with it destroying records and its competition in its homeland, it's only going to get the majority of those titles going forward. But how many of those games will come to the West where the dedicated handheld market isn't what it use to be? decisions...decisions...

Vita's getting killed, every article I read seems to talk about how terrible it's doing, especially when it actually got some 3rd party games this fall. What 3rd party is going to want to invest that cash in Vita this fall?

Sales may be low but the Vita is a great system...I guess it depends on what u like . I was curious about getting a 3DS since i just have to have every console out there but the games are just too dam kiddie for my liking...and with Persona 4 out that pretty much fills my rpg needs the Vita was lacking

I agree it's a great system, not bashing it there...just commenting on industry people I've ready about talking about sales and developer support on Vita in the future...
