I see Target has a BF 3DS XL sale, with systems going for $149. I was going to get the Zelda bundle, but looks like I can go this route, get the color system I want and the game and have some money left over to buy some screen protectors or another game.

I gotta say that this might be the best Zelda game ever. Just finished the first two dungeons and so far it is absolutely incredible.Comment

Re: Nintendo 3DS
I'm at the same point, and yes this game feels like a 3DS system seller. So much nostalgia, and yet it is a new game. The wall-walking thing adds so much more to exploring that familiar overworld. And I know I'm only scratching the surface at this point.Last edited by bcruise; 11-23-2013, 04:31 PM.Comment

Nintendo 3DS
I just got a PS4 but I'm going to picking up a 3ds XL with Pokemon and Zelda on Black Friday/cyber Monday. Haven't had a handheld since the GBA so I'm really excited to get back on board.Last edited by JWR3232; 11-23-2013, 10:03 PM.New York Yankees

Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth crawls to 3DS in 2014
Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth is heading to Nintendo 3DS, Atlus has announced.
The dungeon crawler features chibi versions of the protagonists from Persona 3 and Persona 4 in a spin-off adventure akin to Etrian Odyssey. Players are given a choice between which set of demon-summoning schoolkids to follow, which will have impacts on dialogue and how the story unfolds.
Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth is slated to arrive in Japan on June 5, 2014.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Nintendo 3DS
Beat Link Between Worlds...
SpoilerStory was alright but it was nothing particularly groundbreaking, nor was the entire game all that difficult. I got so many rupees throughout the game and from the Treacherous Tower that I bought everything in Ravio's shop and still had enough for several blue potions, which carried me through the endgame. I didn't find all the Maiamai's either - about 45 of them or so. I did find all the Master Ores and got the Master Sword fully upgraded too.
The most striking thing about this playthrough was that it showed that a certain item is not required to beat it - I never found the Pegasus Boots! Yet I know they exist because I fought Streetpass Shadow Links who had them. I didn't even get the Titan's Mitt until very late, when it became obvious I'd find it in Misery Mire/Desert Palace. I had a hell of a time finding the one crack I needed to get into the desert.
My issues with the game being too easy (only one game over and it was stupidity) should be resolved on a second playthrough, because upon completing the game a Hero Mode unlocks which appears to increase enemies damage by 2.5 times (the first enemies I encountered in the sanctuary took off 2 full hearts).
Really fun game to play through the first time, and I'm probably going to take on the dungeons in a different order (I mostly stayed true to the order from LttP as close as I could).Comment

Re: Nintendo 3DS
I broke down and upgraded to the Legend of Zelda 3DS XL the other day. Couldn't help myself after seeing how it looks in person.
I need some 3DS friends, so please add me. 0903-3425-9147
Edit: Also let me know if you've added me, so I can add you back.Last edited by Trapper700; 11-28-2013, 09:25 AM.Comment

Re: Nintendo 3DS
Trapper, I did the same thing
Am out of town visiting the in-laws and picked up the Zelda 3DS XL bundle on Wed. Unfortunately, I cannot get connected to the Internet where we are staying (I'm using a wireless card to surf the web, but can't download my Zelda game because the connection doesn't stay long enough), so I'll have to wait until tomorrow night when I get back home to start playing.
I will say after playing on a DSi, I am a BIG fan of the XL size of the 3DS. Better fit for me and the screen size is comparable to the Vita.
The key now will be to not go crazy and buy too many games at one time. I'm going to try and play all the way through Zelda before I buy anything else.
I'll add my friend code to my sig once I get that established.Currently Playing:
