I'm shocked Nintendo isn't rolling out those new 3DS models in NA for the holidays....with Smash coming out and their compatibility with Amiibo they'd sell like hot cakes...

Played the Smash Bros. demo for a while tonight. I have no clue what I'm doing; the controls are simple but I don't know how to chain anything and there's no tutorial. Well, there is a video that shows you moves, but doesn't show what buttons to press.

Still, I can see how this can be a lot of fun against human opponents, and the CPU. Seems very similar to Mario Kart in that it's tough to hold onto a lead late, as the CPU will often find a way to knock you off the stage in the final seconds.

Graphics are good and the gameplay is smooth. Hard to judge the music on one song, but it is quality.

Don't know if I'll pick this up. My hands were starting to cramp after a few rounds, so this is going to have to be played in short bursts if I do purchase. If you're a fan of the series I'm sure you will like this game.

Who's planning picking up Smash Bros. on Oct. 3? If enough people pick it up, it'd be fun to have some OS matches/tournaments (if that's possible to do, you never know with Nintendo's online).

I am. I've been a Smash player since N64. I even started playing Brawl again.

I am very tempted as the Wii U is a first day buy for me but worried about the online being an issue as early reviews are saying.

Started Fire Emblem: Awakening last night. Wound up playing for 3 hours. Playing on Normal/Casual. Game is fantastic.

Smash 3DS is awesome. It's perfect for picking up and playing really quick and the character roster is incredible.

Preach! It's my 2nd favorite 3DS game behind Animal Crossing New Leaf and was almost my personal GOTY last year.

Smash 3DS is awesome. It's perfect for picking up and playing really quick and the character roster is incredible.

I've been playing as my Mii all day.

I have to get smash. Was great on 64, hated the game cube one and played the wii on a good bit.

I can't stop playing as Little Mac. I'm terrible as him, and half the time I punch myself off of the edge without hitting anything, but he's a lot of fun. Most underrated move is probably his counter, nobody ever expects it haha.
