According to their site, they place an initial charge on the account to authorize it, but in most cases there's enough time between order and shipment for that charge to fall off.Kansas City Royals | FC Barcelona | New Orleans Pelicans

Is there anywhere to pre order online? I wanted the Monster Hunter one but can't seem to find it

Edit: Never Mind I seen that edition has well sold out. Dang that stinks...Last edited by Swamp Swagger; 01-21-2015, 11:08 AM.Comment

 Re: Nintendo 3DS

Yeah the Monster Hunter LE didn't sell out as quickly as the Majora's Mask LE, but it still went very quickly.

It'll be interesting to see if Nintendo publishes more for actual release in the stores for Feb. 13 or in any following shipments.

The red and black New Nintendo 3DSXL's are readily available, though. While the LE's are cool-looking, if you want a N3DS bad enough, the color won't really matter.Currently Playing:

I did something stupid and bought a MH 3DS off EBay for quite a bit lol

But I really wanted it and had the extra cash. I didn't like the way MM 3ds lookedComment

I'm scared to ask what "quite a bit" actually was, but hey, good for you for getting the N3DS that you wanted.Currently Playing:

 Re: Nintendo 3DS Announced

$325 no tax and free shipping

Not to bad considering most are selling for nearly $400

If you bought from GameStop it would be around $250or so with the tax and shipping. Most people would still stay it was dumb to do that but you want you want lolComment

OK, that's not too bad. Like you said, you'd pay close to $250 if you got it from GS. Definitely post some impressions of the N3DS after you get it.Currently Playing:

 Re: Nintendo 3DS Announced

 Will do

Only thing is I probably won't have mine until probably a week later after release. Because they have to ship it to the seller and then he ship it to me..... He had really good feedback as a seller though so I'm not to worried about itComment

 Re: Nintendo 3DS Announced

Update: I only had to pay $292.50 for my Monster Hunter Edition

I thought the calculated shipping would cost much more....

 Even more pumped now lolComment

 Re: Nintendo 3DS

Spent my lunch break today playing Code Name S.T.E.A.M. today. I have a feeling it's going to be one of those games that people either love or hate, not a lot of middle ground.

I think if you're a fan of Advance Wars and Fire Emblem, you'll be able to enjoy S.T.E.A.M. The gameplay is intuitive and definitely has layers of strategy to it. You have to be cautious of your steam tank at all times, both when moving your character(s) and using weapons.

The one thing I don't like is controlling the camera with the touchscreen. I'll have to look and see if you can use the face buttons as an alternate.

The demo is fully voice-acted, which is a real nice touch. I'm a fan of the style of graphics the game uses, but am aware some may not be enamored with them.

The demo seems very meaty; I finished three stages and then saved the game before continuing on to the next chapter. Not sure how many chapters there are but the first one I played took just about an hour to complete.

Not sure if I'll be rushing out to buy this Day One as I've got a lengthy backlog as it is, but certainly a game I will be purchasing at some point.Currently Playing:
