I've heard it's possible to play XBL without a modem and just a router... This sounds impossible

I remember doing LAN on first Xbox halo, but doing XBL without modem sounds impossible, I agree. You need a internet connection

If I bought Fallout 4 and got the Fallout 3 download will that come with all the expansion packs? Otherwise may have to grab the GOTY edition that comes with them all then sell the disc when I get the digital copy

Might be my GOTY tbh. Sports GOTY at the very least. Hope they improve performance for the Xbox One port. The PC version is pretty far superior to the PS4 version IMO. Difficult to go back and forth after 40+ hours on PC.

I wouldn't mind playing rocket league in my one as opposed to my ps4. For whatever reason I tend to get a smoother connection in online games on the one

Microsoft's Online Services are significantly better than Playstation's IMO (not starting a war) and I always get a better connection with any Xbox game as compared to my PlayStation

I bought a PS4 this weekend, and I can agree especially on the download speed . I've always heard people complaining about that PSN speeds were slow, and then I experienced it first hand this weekend where it took me 4 hours to download a 9GB file. Xbox's isn't great by any means also compared to Steam, but its significantly better than that.

might just be a lag in reconciling the license, maybe the console checks that every 24 hours or so

I think it was when you pre-ordered it, it is on one of those sheets inside that are next to the disc, where the control manuals used to be last gen and before.
