Judging by MSFT's software pricing model, as well as ushering in the $60 game generation. I would not hold my breath for substantial sales that look like Steam. But who knows.

It all comes down to control. And by control, I mean more so than gaming software. A few know what I mean on here.

Forza 2, 3, and 4 are 60fps on 360. Honestly, if you're a sim racer, it's either 60fps or don't bother; it would be like playing a fighting game at 30fps, nobody wants that.

Well, that's what I was going to say. I was wondering if the GT-Forza graphical war would be unfair if Forza didn't even peak at 60 FPS.

The drama for the Sony conference will be unreal on Monday. Still looking for clarification from MS on most of this, but the writing is on the wall or behind a brick wall it seems..........

So, it was either screw over the customer, or screw over the customer. Also, I noticed it was the online pass using companies, go figure.

Oh trust me. MSFT, loves the DRM curbing just as much as the big three publishers.

Remember, they are a software company first and foremost, with the most pirated software of all time. Do not think they did not have a hand in orchestrating/feeding this.

Really, Guess I was wrong. Always thought they were running between 45 FPS & 60 FPS but never a consistent 60 FPS

With Xbox One you can game offline for up to 24 hours on your primary console, or one hour if you are logged on to a separate console accessing your library. Offline gaming is not possible after these prescribed times until you re-establish a connection, but you can still watch live TV and enjoy Blu-ray and DVD movies.

Apologies in advance if this has already been posted in this thread, but I came across an excellent article commenting on Microsoft's strategy. There's no new information, but the writer makes some great points--very well written.

Honestly I can't wait for the new Xbox. As it stands now I've bought my last two games online and they've been completely downloaded with zero issue. My Xbox sits in my living room and is constantly connected so thats awesome for me. Switching games without having to get up and physically change the disc is very welcomed. Not to mention how much I use Netflix and the other apps like HBO Go.

I'll be purchasing the Xbox One day one for myself. Can't wait to get a new console and everything else Microsoft has planned.

Sucks I have to work during E3. Really hope we are slow enough that I can stream it on replay at work..

So far nothing MS has showed really effects me at all. It's really about the games and pricing right now.

Yeah always on is no issue at all for me.
I'm a physical disk kind of person but the no disk ease is pretty nice though.

I just need to see a price at this point and more about games.
