Their is no way they can tell who is your family member, I guessing you can pick any 10 persons to make profiles for and that's your family.

Individually, most of the restrictions are not a big deal.
        - I have a broadband connection, so other than a rare event I would be able to connect every 24 hours.
        - I want Kinect, so having it on all the time is no big deal.
        - Used games. If reselling becomes a hassle, I simply won't buy as many games. I'm already getting picky about what I buy because I don't want to deal with the hassle (and fees) of selling my games on Amazon or Ebay. I do buy a lot of games used, so depending on what the final rules are this may become a pain for me.
        - No backward compatibility. Don't own any 360 games, but it is disappointing that I won't be able to pick up some older games cheap while the Xbone builds up a library.
        - Push towards digital. I like to have the physical games, but digital works....for a while. What happens to my digital library when the XB2 comes out?

Together these signs point to a more restrictive experience. This I don't like, even if I am fine with most of the individual restrictions. I especially don't trust the long term consequences of having to log in every 24 hours in order to play a game. At some point they will shut down the servers and what happens then? Do all my games become useless? I'm may not want to take that chance, as I still play a number of games on my original XBox (Battlefront, X-Men Legends, NBA Street 2, MotoGP, Motocross ,etc...).
You should change the word Individually to personally.

If you can choose any 10 people on your friend list, and have that list NOT be permanent, and allow you to lend more than this ridiculous one time thing, then that could save them on that front.

People would make smart game trading networks with their friends if done right.

              Yeah. E3 almost here.
I may end up just saying screw it and stick to PC gaming for a while.
What I've basically done the past 6 months anyways.
All these over done rants about MS, nothing substantially known about PS4 yet etc...

Just get to E3 and show some prices and games! Especially prices..

See, that's what I was thinking. I don't have 10 family members who play video games. And I can only think of three people I would even think of including. If it's 10 random people I can designate as "family" that can play anytime, the lending games thing would never ever bother me, and I assume many people would be the same way.

I only say that because console gamers generally only have a few people they are willing to just loan a game out to without actually wanting to sell the game.

But yeah if they keep this you can lend one time, and its their game from then on, then this is a travesty. That isnt lending. These dudes are really out of touch.

Sony will MURDER them if they leave things the way they have been since the beginning.

The lack of Give in this give and take between consumer and MS is incredibly unbalanced with this console. We get almost zero benefit to buying this console. MS is taking everything.

Highly unlikely and it's just some rumor started on a forum (NeoGaf).

I hate to say it but with all of this news, Microsoft is really going to disappoint us with surprise exclusives from third party developers. That has to be the only rationale behind these decisions they have made, they had to have seen this reaction coming so they may have exclusives that will "force" gamers to go with the X1.

That or they are so arrogant they think we will just jump in lock step with everything they do. They only reason I chose the 360 over the PS3 is that it was the console everyone else had, THAT IS THE ONLY REASON.
